If you're tired of running duty missions at Tier 2, or need some away time from Tier 3 frustration, I've found a good place for exp/loot to be around Lok at the Bloodlight Sea POI. There are always Teir 2/3 non-grouping non-aggro Nym ships there (also good for a Corsec Privateer mission where you have to destroy 5 Nym ships.) Mostly Y-wings, so they're slow and easy pickin's.

another nice spot is Dant - Blacklight Territory

regular spawn on 10 Tier3 fighters with occasinal bombers and tier5 bosses.

the main wave respawns when its down to 2 or 3 ships.

If your grinding tier 4 go overt and go into kessel gunboats are 24000 xp the vett is 48000 xp and everthing else is about 7000 xp or 8000 xp and on top of that you get good loot and lots of faction points

Try to run the Yavin 4 Space Station Mission. At the End you get the Option to run a Destroy Duty Mission from there. Tir 2 Ships and Tir 3 Bosses. There will be waves after Waves to destroy. Masses of Ships. Easy Targets, good XP and Money and Loot.

Same goes for Naboo Station and Dantooine Space Station.

If you don´t want to land each time to get a new one, thats a good option.

For Tir4 i found it best as Imperial Storm Sq. to run the full Duty Mission from my Trainer. Its easy to get those 1 Mio xp in one Round, since this Duty will last pretty long. Those Tir4 Ships and Tir5 Bosses dropp some nice loot, give good XP and aren´t so hard to destroy if you have a good Ship. Otherwise bring some friends along.

Death-marked mercenaries (tier 4) and Dark Veil Order (tier 4 and 5) in the dathomir system around the Heart of Dathomir Nebula. Also corsec fighters (tier 4) around the dathomir station. That's how I got all my experience and loot.

Ok heres one that no one has mentioned:

Endor Space, Second Jump Point ( Closest to the Endor Space Station )

Fly to the Endorian Space Station and look for the Rebel Medical Frigate. Its a static ship and 2 groups of Rebel Ships will spawn here. All level 4 X-Wing and B-Wings ( B-Wings are slower and give more Exp, go figure ) If your Smugglers Alliance Freelance Pilot you can "pull" these one at a time. Be careful as sometimes you can agro more than 1 ship with a stray shot. I went from Novice Freelance Pilot to completing Tier 3 un under 24 hours
