Old news.

Hitbox is offset. You have to hit the upper hemisphere of the ball to kill him.

When is it going to be fixed? My guess is, not anytime Soon(tm). Sony doesnt have time for JTL bugfixes, they spend it all making jedicentric expansions so they can get more money out of you.

I'm actually very happy that SOE's lackeys sort of forgot about JTL. Space has its buggs, but lets face it - they are not severe or gamebreaking. SOE's way of fixing bugs = annoying nerfs. No, I don't want them to "fix" anything in JTL. Let them keep breaking ground part of the game. I almost play only space part nowadays.

I would consider many of them game breaking. Like the inability to get certain ships because of completely borked bugs. Or how screwed up Deep Space is - ISD lags the zone, Freedom Station can't be hit. The increasing problems with lag in space. I only play in space too for the most part - it drives me nuts that they can't seem to fix these things.

actully the royal guard tie fighter bites. At high speed it is great but at low speed it can not turn while slow.
the only good thing is the off set hit box. I would rather have a hvy tie with missils. you carry missils right?

Experiment with it with an L8 RE'd QID at about 80% throttle. You may find you hit your AOA limiter very quickly, and its quite nice.

I use a nice RE'd lvl 10 in mine. Overkill? Probably. But still nice. With EO4 I'm hitting 1332 without boost and I can hit my sweet spot around 1100 ish. Of course there is only room for a cup holder and a squirt gun. Not even a Super Soaker. One of those little .49 cent plastic ones that leak and only hold a half ounce of water.

Ideally I'd like to stick the lvl 10 in my T/O and use a nice RE'd 8 in my Interceptor. I've got 2 QUIDs neither of them are very impressive although the one does have a 96.8 speed...still nothing to write home to mom about. And I've been picking up and looting every lvl8 I can get my dirty Imp hands on but it seems every one Iloot has lvl 3 PYR/Speed stats and lvl 9 mass

about the only think that i use my RGI for is killing gunboats and vetts. it is usless for pve aginst anything under tier 5, everyone else is just too slow. there was a point when a b-wing was out corrnering me--due to the low speed i had to keep to stay behind him.

I used to have that same problem. As a speed freak B-wings are what i hated the most. What I do now is just rapid fire the "match speed" button then roll as needed and that does the trick.

Dragon,

You're right. A nice RE job will get her up to 100+ but I'm addicted to PYR and I would gladly sacrifice speed for better PYR stats. And the way it's looking now, with a flawless RE job, 72-73 will be as good as it gets. I doubt I'll get 80+ on a lvl 8 engine but I'd like to have at least 75-78. But I'm spoiled by my lvl 10.

I've got a couple REd QIDs with PYR in the 76-77 range and speed in the high 90s. Sitting on one with speed about the same as yours and high 60s/ low 70s PYR, waiting for some goodies to RE it with. I've had pretty good luck with those. What I've had lousy luck with is the Corellian Beamrails. Would like to get one of those with the top-end stats for REing, but all the ones I've gotten so far have been so-so at best.

The REd Incom Elite that's in my Nova on the other had... ho boy. 80+ PYR and speed high 90s. At half throttle in the Nova, that thing can REALLY roll over in a dogfight. I love it

96.8 x 1.06 = 102.6

That's pretty good I say, better than what most people have.
