I just tried the duty missions from the Yavin space station. They are tier 2 and you have do do a few missions first. Are you sure its the yavin space station?

Bosses are tier3 waves are tier2. The principle is the same though, not meant for anyone xp grinding unless they're at that tier, but great for a high quantity of parts and a decent payout.

RE the suggested Kashyyyk duties- none of the ones I have tried have payouts even close to your basic t4 duty. The foes are higher and worth more xps, so great if your xp grinding, but if you want money, talk to a trainer, or a station in one of the other systems.

are there any stations that give nice tier4-trainer type missions, for those that are all done with the trainers? or is yavin the best option? (and as for the kash, the special duty missions from the independant slavers, and 2 rodan clans offer horrible payouts, 750 per wave and next to no loot dropped, in case anyone was interested)

You're never "all done" with the trainers, you can always go back to them.

I think most of the supplemental duties (from stations) skip tier4 primarily because of this.

I tried the Yavin destroy duty mission last night too, after doing the two intro missions, and wasn't impressed with the payout. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

A complete Yavin duty pays about 250k, counting mission bonus (100k+), credit chip, and selling the majority of your parts.

We're talking about cash, and the payouts on the T5 duties stink. Tier4 duties from the trainer will net you 100k+ in duty pay, a 100k+ chip, plus parts. That doesnt count the Black Sun helmet (#4)I got from one last night either.

I hate you. I still haven't looted my first BS helmet!

Personally I find I make more cash going up against Tier 4 Tie missions - drop a lot more credits per kill, higher level components though the payout is the same for each wave defeated. Tried the Yavin 4 mission last night - found it tedious and didn't really make much cash - don't know how you could possibly make 1 mil an hour doing that, I think you'd be lucky to make anywhere near 100k...

Alright, I'll have to verify once again when I go into space tonight but here's my response to all the replies via my orignial yavin post. The Yavin staion initially sends you on some standard missions that you can go through and complete (kind of a storyline). When you complete all those standard missions then there is an option for a duty. I believe that it is this duty that gives the tier 3 waves with a tier 4 boss (but it could be tier 2 with tier 3 boss that's what I need to verify). Remember, this is a strictly cash grinding stop. The reason why I like Yavin is with my setup I can mostly one-shot kill the ships I'm up against meaning I advance through the waves fast and each wave payout is 3k on top of the credits from the individual ships and the loot that can be resold. And yes, I can make 1mil/hour and yes, it is tedious lol but the purpose of this thread was to discuss cash grinding methods in space and this is the one I use

deep space and duty tours. I make a ton of cash, a ton of fp (which brings me in the most cash) and a ton of parts to sell.

There's a few places around where Tier3's spawn as fast as you can shoot. These places are perfect for parts farming. They don't pay as well (1 earn about 100-200k an hour), but I fill my inventory fairly quick.

There is one, but it is for Imperials. From Endor station, after doing some storyline missions, you can get destroy missions for tier 4 pirates, with tier 5's in the boss rounds. Takes me about a half hour to complete, decent payout, plus credit chip and loot and don't have to land to get it again.

I prefer doing the Rebel black sun mission from Arkon on Lok most of the time now. Around an hour to complete, nice mission payout, plus good money from the ships, and I come away with a full or almost full inventory of components to sell or RE.
