I use my Vaskai for everything! Escort, destroy, rescue duty missions. PvE, PvP. Take on Corvettes. Iy is awesome. Although it only has a chassis hitpoints of 2000 and I've already got it to 1000 in under a month. The widespread guns Are easy to cope with. I use a Lvl 10 RE'd weapon. Lvl 10 RE'd engine and Level 10 RE'd Engine. everything else is lowend. But it kills nearly everything and everyone I've fought. I just keep dying in Kessel fighting the Corvette. I can do it, but it takes along time and I mess up alot. But overall, I'd say te Vaskai is the best of the PvP ships (JSF, Grievous' ship and the Vaskai)

Take a look here.

This actually is the Kihraxz fighter, but i'm not able to see any actual visual differences. (Oki, mine looks very different, but that's due to the use of other boosters. On this picture, the booster is in the long rod at the tail, my booster consists of two pods on the wings. If i put on another booster, the only difference to the ship in the picture is the paintjob.)

The only difference of the Vaskai and that pic is that when you use different engines/boosters/weapons it shows up a different model. Other than that, exact replica. Like I said, I always use my Vaskai. I think C-3PO best portrays my feelings when fighting the Black Sun ships:

Actually, there is a slight difference between the Vaksai chassis and the Kihraxz chassis. If you notice, the Vaksai has the front half of the Kihraxz Style 1 wings, and the back half of the Style 2 wings. Or something like it. But I'm just being @nal, besides looks a lot cooler IMO.

I've tried it abit and I like it, but I just can't get used to it. Been flying a Krayt since they came and a Kimogila before that, so I'm too used to those two ships. It has a great advantage over the Krayt and that's the size of the ship and still that mass. But, even with a lvl 10 gun it takes longer to kill stuff than with my krayt that has 2 lvl8's and one 9. Offense is the best defense so I'll stick with my krayt.

I used to fly the B-22, but after giving the Vaksai a spin, I was a changed man. It's a great ship, combining speed and agility with more mass than you'd ever need. The big flaws with it are:

1) Only has one gun hardpoint
2) It's a quite large chassis, making it an easier target in PvP than a smaller ship such as an A-Wing or JSF

If you can over look those minor problems, you've got yourself an outstanding craft. Oh, and it looks friggin' cool!

The visual difference betweenthis typeKhiraxz and a Vaksai is the leading edge of the wing. Khir is a straight line, and the Vaksai has a section cut out. Like all the other Advanced ships there is a minor difference, but its there nonetheless.

I have been getting my Vaksai ready for PvP. As a person that normally flies a JSF or Bel-22, I can say that imo the vaksai is a better ship. Sure it only has one gun but it has the mass to mount a L10 gun and other very high end components. The thing that I think makes it better is its inertia combined with its optimal turning speed range. The JSF and Bell-22 are very light ships so when you turn your ship doesn't slide that much. Also they have an optimal turning speed range of about 95%-60% (lower speed = less distance traveled at same turning rate = tighter circle). The Vaksai has alot of inertia, with a L8 engine with ypr around 60 I was able to slide around a turn at a 90 degree angle. The vaksai also has an optimal turning speed range of about 90%-45%. With my new engine I hit the limiter that keeps you from flying backwards in a turn(70+ ypr L10 crafted).

I love mine and will be using it instead of my JSF is PvP, but the Bell-22 will always be my favorite ship, just because I like the way it looks.

No, I was dumb enough to take it for a test flight in DS.

Not to "Galaxy Jack" but the Vak looks alot like the ships on Battlestar Galactica. I'll bet thats where the designers got their insiration for it.

I love mine.
