The answer is no.
With inspiration buff, 1 tier4 duty mission from start to finish = < 3hrs, 1,100,000 xp.
As for training... you probably should have gone:

You can run Level4 droid programs without decay - repair a little, repair half, repair half, repair all. So that extra droid storage is needed to run RO4, WO3, WC4, EO4, and room for CTSS4.
Seriously you shouldn't need to fit any equipment higher than lvl 7 - as an imp you don't really have room, as a neutral or rebel you have way too many weapons to worry about it.
And yeah, if you find it to be "grinding"... go up to DS in someone's POB instead and go afk.
Go to D-### in endor.
Kill the tier four scientist bodyguards.
They are woth just under 4K a kill with the inspiration buff.
They are yellow, so wont agro.
They do not pack attack.
With two class 7 guns form your local shipwright,.they die in less than ten shots.
They are also a constant spawn. Meaning that you will always have one within a few hundred meters from you.
You can get about 1 million exp in about 2 hours. 250 kills. Yes, that is VERY doable.
With double exp week, that woudl be about one hour. 125 Kills. Also very doable.
KILL THEM ALL.
Just keep killing.
Even faster with a lower level friend who is grinding through. Just gimp them, and go to the next. Let your friend destroy what is left of them.
BTW, do NOT waste time with tier 3 and lower. T3 is only worth 1,500 a kill. T4 is about 4K.
Assuming a relatively fixerd time for lining up and manuvering, that means it will take you 2 and a half times as long to finish byu doing tier three as oposed to tier four.
1,000,000/1,500 = 667
1,000,000/4,000 = 250
