My theory for the reason behind the incredibly high massit more or less means the thing has infinate mass, but since you cant have a ship with infinate mass, they just came up with a figure that was HUGE but still believable. The intended effect simply being that mass will never be afactor for MP ships. It was just a way of removing it from the equation while keeping things somewhat realistic.
