My personal tactics vs Aggressors.

If you are as fast as they are, or faster, you should slot in behind them and match speed. It's essential, that if he's not shooting at you (wild spawns in kessel often don't aggro until you shoot them) don't shoot until you are exactly lined up as you wish. Most of the hits from an Aggie turret happen to inexperienced pilots when they essentially panic and begins shooting before they are lined up. Use [ ] to target weapon 1, and begin. Its essential not to get rattled byt the incoming fire, and to learn how to keep your aim rock steady. If you've lined up well you can get 2-4 hits in before he opens fire on you, and the hard part is over. Learn to time your Cap>Shield shunt (or actually use the Rebel program that shift energy from back to front, its useful in this case while you're still parcticing), so that you boost your shield after he scores enough hits. Aggies are fond of high climbing turns. if you're following him through one, you can slide out and underneath him where his turret won't fire, and you gain a breather. Once the turret is down, the aggie is an easy target.

If you are a lot slower than them, your best bet is to sit tight, line up and let him charge you.

They are tough foes, and they will always be a good wake me up, but do not fear them. Practice and you can easily dispatch them with 85% shields remaining all the time, without even using shunt.

Note: these ships are deadly because the NPC gunner almost never misses, no matter what the pilot does. I wish they would add in NPC Ywings (not longprobes) and NP krayts, to spice things up for everyone, but I think the accuracy needs to be toned down a little on the lower tier spawns. I prefer a hard fight in a tier5 foe, and this is one of the toughest, but there needs to be a ramp up.

To take out turreted ships

Tie Aggie: Well needless to say, I hate em, If Im in an xwing/m22/rhyx, I just line em up and blast turret 1, shotly after turret one is gone, aggie blows up. If im in a Awing/bwing, thats where tactics change a bit, the awing, is fast, but lacks the real firepower to take out turret 1 from behind, because the aggie will eat ur lunch, whatyou do is aggro the aggie on you, ur fast enough to out run it, get to about 1 km away from it, turn around and do a head to head till it loses weapon 1 or goes boom, on a bwing, pretty much the same, bwings a slow and hard or the turning, so aggro the aggie and pretty much stay in place, trying to line up the aggie, when it comes around to the the head to head pass, blast em, with a good set up, you can blast em in one pass.

Imp GB: there are different ways to kill a gb, the ez way ( longer way ) is to stay out of range of its cannons ( +540 meters) and, fire at it till dead, target weapon 2 on it ( the rear most cannon ) once that weapon is gone , u can safely close in for the kill, most imp gb's in kessel and other systems will fly straight, but not all the time, you sometimes get what I call the dancer, its a gb that randomly twists and turns, very hard very dangerous to kill, on those the distance method works best. On the ones that fly straight, there is another method that works great also, the blindspot, there is a huge blindspot between weapon 2 and 0 on the gb, if you come in directly under it, you can exploit the blindspot easily enough. no remember, not to get to far in frint of the gb, turret 0 will blast ya, and not to far behind , because of turret 2. I usually come directly under her, and start blasting till im about 45 degrees behind her, then break off and reaproach the bottom again, on a bwing, usually take just one pass to take out weapon 2, and thats it, gb is effectively dead.

Rebel GB: Rebel GB's are the easiest ship to kill , ever. They have a much larger blind spot on em than the Imp gb, and fewer guns too, when killing a rebel gb, go for its engines, come from under her ,and blast till dead, you can allmost come directly behind it before the guns track you, do not come from behind tho, it will fire on u immeidatly, just come from unda and blast it.

Corvette: Well, as most ppl know the vette is not easy to solo, it can be done, but only after a lot of practice, you first start with gun 5 on the vette, that should be your first target always, not the fighters, or the gb, but gun 5 on the vette, once that gun is gone, the vette is pretty much dead, does not mean its gonna be ez tho. after the first shots on the vette, the flighters will come after you. now you have 2 options, kill the fighters by getting out of the vettes gun range , and blasting em to oblivion, or just outrunning em, and continue to disable the vette. Now as we all know rebel ships are easier to kill than the ties on the star ravager, so when im taking out the rebel vette, i usually kill all of its fighters before i continue to kill the vette. next thing to target on the vette are its shields, its got 2 of em, main and secondaries, now the ez way to take out its shields are to use missiles, as long as you get a nice solid lock, your missils do not miss, the hard way is to fly in front/bottom of the vette and targeting the components , killing em with your guns, there is a risk to this method, the vette can turn on you, or you can get to high on your run, thats when you die, so make sure ur coming in from the bottom at all times, ahh and do not aggro the gb's. at least not yet. once the shields are down , its time for the engines, all you have to do is get behind the vette and shoot its engines out, if the gb's get aggro on you before you take out the engines, take em out, if not, the gb will simply fly over the vette and continue there merry way. After the vette is disabled, all u gotta do is come by its sides/bottom and take out the rest of its guns, you can use cannons or missiles, after that, reactor and bridge, and boom shes dead. remember to take out the gb and fighters before you leave, if not you may cause the next spawn to be delayed. BTW do not try to solo the vette with a bwing/ywing, you will not survive.
