Careful....many have ended up relying on it to much.
You'll end up putting in an oversize engine and weapons that won't allow your ship to function with out it running.

ummm.... could you clarify a bit?
i currently run:
Reactor Overload 4
Weap Capacitor Overload 4
Engine Overload 4
so what would i need to do to run Weap Overload 3 as well?

Well after running WO3 people realize...hrm...I don't need such a big reactor....so i'll down grade it.
And with the space I save I'll get bigger guns. Hrm...I don't need such a big capacitor since my energy per shot is less so i'll downgrade that... Look at that more room for ever bigger guns.
People go to the extreme that once they launch into space their counter measures, chaff and weapons are disabled and need to run a reactor overload or WO3 to allow them to function.
The draw back of this is a "pre combat" prep time (to run overloads) everytime you go into space.
In a situation where it crucial you get into the fight in less then 2 minutes or your buddies will die this prep time is bad.
It's one of the reasons that most naval carrier's usually have a ready five fighter.

On a personal note I really don't like droid commands that run indefinately. It detracts from the tactical use of said commands. I rather have droid commands that have a limited duration and faster droid reset times. It will also increase the use of the other droid commands. Weapon Limiter, Engine Limiter, and all the other commands what no one in their right mind currently use.
