So in the meantime use this:
http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=pilot&message.id=74840
This isn't true. Players can already search for items listed on the bazaar and will jump on the opportunity to grab something good. With a system that lets you find components of a specific level, it would only make their methods of looking take less time. They would still have to plan time to look on the bazaar vs. doing anything else. So although players might look on the bazaar a bit more often they still have to look. It's not like anything placed on the bazaar will be auto-gone. The players have to look for it first. And even then, they still have to pay for it.
Heck I'm not worried.

Speaking of a bazaar issue that irks me. People who auction off an item that they SHOULD know will easily fetch the $20k max on the bazaar. Examples are reward loots, higher level tier chassis. Why do people auction this stuff? Just post it for the $20k max and you'll get your money faster and other shoopers won't get prematurely exited when they found a good deal.
Or is this just me

There was a time long ago in a galaxy far far away where you actually had to _travel_ from vendor to vendor and browse each vendor individually. In this great galaxy there were hundreds of vendors that hardly anyone ever saw. Now put yourself in this galaxy and start complaining that you can't search the whole galaxy by cert level and only by name

I hate when that happens. I thought I was going to get a reward shield and an aurilian banner today for 20k each only to fin out they were auctions

Just something else to add onto the topic.
I spent 2 hours yesterday going through the bazaar having to filter through useless Droid Programming Chips. Then I remembered that there was a name filter.. DOH! My bad. So for somethings, there is no need for grouping on the bazaar, like Droid chips since you can filter by the chip's name. But for others, there are so many different names under the same category, it would be nice if they were organized (like level 8 engines).
