I've already decided not to renew my subscription, so I'm keeping this thread going purely for the entertainment value. No CSR response other than a complete restoration of my stuff could change my mind at this point. Anyway, let's get to the fun!

I talked to CSR-JordanK in-game for a few minutes two days after my last post. He didn't get anything fixed before he had to go (lunchtime in India, maybe), but left the ticket open and said to add a comment the next time I was online. I did that for the next couple of days, and then today CSR-DeisreeK closed my ticket and added this comment:

"Thank you for contacting Star Wars Galaxies in game support.

I am reviewing your ticket regarding the Ship. I would inform you that I have placed a new black sun ship in your datapad.

Hope this would resolve your issue.

If you encounter any other in game issues please file a new ticket.

Well, if I had wanted a Kihraxz Light Fighter, Style 1, with 519 chassis hit points and 10k mass capacity, I could easily have bought one myself for a lot less than my Krayt chassis. At least my Krayt/Vaksai bugged ship was deleted from my datapad, along with my irreplaceable parts. Doh.I could have done THAT myself, thanks. Thanks a bunch.

Here's where it really gets interesting. CSR-DeisreeK was kind enough to populate the Kihraxz with some low-level parts for me (take a close look at the stats, mass in particular):

Incom Fusial Thrust Engine (mass: 0.0, ypr: 34.0, spd: 55, RE lvl 4)
Generic Shield (mass: 0.0, front/back: 300/500, recharge: 5, RE lvl 0)
Generic Armor (2) (mass 0.0, armor and hitpoints 300.0, RE lvl 0)
Generic Capacitor (mass 0.0, capacitor energy: 571.2, recharge: 35.4, RE lvl 0)
X-Wing Booster (mass 0.0, every stat is 0, RE lvl 0)
Incom Long-Range Disruptor (mass 0.0, damage: 120-250, RE lvl 3)

None of the parts have any mass or use any energy! Too bad only two of the more useless parts can be reverse-engineered, right? But I saved the best for last:
Generic Reactor (mass: 0.0, generation rate: 1000000000.0)

Yes, 1 BILLION for the generation rate and no mass! It almost makes up for the missing parts...

I don't know if I should keep wasting my time but I would like to find out if any knowledgeable CSRs are still monitoring Gorath tickets. Ah well, I may never know.

Any offers on the parts?

Then I tried to do my mission but failed. Ship blew up so I decided to call it a night. THen I look in the starship terminal and there was my old ship that disapeared.
