hehe Eaca, with 2 to 7 stats having any meaning, there's always need for 'filler'....

There are ten REable areas on weapons (even though you can blend armor/hp together most of the time):

1 & 2. Armor/HP (sometimes L10s have been used prior to being REed, leaving some wear and tear)
3. Reactor Drain
4. Mass
5. Minimum Damage
6. Maximum Damage
7. Eff vs. Shields
8. Eff vs. Armor
9. Energy Per Shot
10. Refire

So if you're truly hardcore when REing an L10, there *IS* no such thing as filler.

I count armor & HP as one stat, since if it does have some wear and tear, it's likely not going to be the top gun in those catagories, and for all pristine guns, armor and HP are the same.

That still only leaves one item for "filler."

If you tend to play JTL more then the ground game, just pickup shipwright to where you can RE the stuff yourself. That way you can slowly collect firespray schematics. That's what I'm thinking about doing. Not to mention that the skill points it takes to get to Novice Shipwright won't make you take too much of a hit to your 'on the ground' template.

Generally speaking, one gun will have more than one stat *best* out of your collection.

Common is either min or max damage and Shield effectiveness or Armor effectiveness, mass and reactor drain, refire and energy per shot.

As a general rule if you cover min, max, sh, armor, energy and refire you use up 5 guns for six stats, and somewhere in there you will probably (not always) find your other stats covered.

That isn't to say it couldn't happen that you'd need 9, but the most I've needed is 7 guns to make one great one. I've done with 5 & 5.
