Yes, both the Kashyyk station and the reb outpost offer a challenge, but the reb post is the xwing and the kash station is the vaksai. All three quests involve a vette.

And yeah, I forgot about the escort.

Before even touching the vette, take out the escort first. I have never had the vette attack me unless I shoot it first.

Plenty of time tovape the escort before lining yourself up behind the vette.

Once you have the escorts' remains decorating your windshield, check where the despawn point is relative to the vette. at roughly 1500 to 1k, closer to 1k, short of that destination, is where you want to take out the shields and engine.

I like doing a space bomb or two protons per component. 1st shield, run, 2nd shield, IFF, engine, run. Then wait till your guys have it up and runing

Many use the tactic of /follow to put themselves directly behind the vette to not be hit by anything as they pick it apart by missiles, but that has always seemed just a LITTLE too close for me. Besides, I like strafing attacks

Be aware. The vette will NOT have shields once you gain control of it. You will have to be quick to gain aggro of the attackers.

It has been awhile since I did this, and there is a guide to this somewhere, just don't remember off hand.
