I agree, but with tier 3's it will be harder to collect level 9 and 10 stuff. They do drop, but not as frequently as they would on higher level npc's. But from what I've seen, tier 3 is the sweet spot that gives you the most sheer amount of component loot. The destroy duty mission from the Dantooine space station will net you huge amounts of components. I reccommend that if you just need lots of items for RE'ing. If you are needing a steadier drop of 9 and 10 stuff, then the best I have seen is from doing the destroy duty mission from Warvog Arkon. He's the tier 4 trainer for Havoc.

Yea, I'm not so worried about which lvl ship drops which loot. But its starting to look to me like only certain "uber" loots drop from certain ships or atleast faction ships. Like has anyone ever gotten a Hoersch and Kessel "Scorcher" lvl 10 Cannon off an Imperial? It's an uber drop and I think it only drops on Rebel ships, possibly only Rebel gunboats.
