Ya HUGE Saitek fan here (always have been) mostly because I use my J-stick Left-Handed and trackball on right. Its an old FPS habit of mine, JS for movement and trackball for "look" just got used to it


I would recomend alsoplaying with all the in-game and control-panel (JS software) setting they do change the feel a ton

I use a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro myself, and it's the best thing I've found for the money, especially the Twist Handle for rolling in my ship, I don't think I could fly without it anymore.
