just as a little update i'm getting 13 FP per kill at the lok rebel space station. does ur rank determine how much FP per kill?

On ground everyone shares a common pool of XP and FP.

In JTL the XP is given individually to everyone that hits the target ship.
What about FP in JTL? Are they shared or do everyone get full amount?

You can get FP in any system, you just have to be overt. And the amount of FP you'll get is dependent wholly on the tier of whatever you're killing, I believe.

Edit: however, privateers can't gain faction in Deep Space, for reasons that seem based on oversight/difficulties in the system rather than logic.

does getting fp is space only work in the Kesel system+Deep Space, or does it work in ANY sector?

also do higher tier ships give more fp?

Faction points are split amoung the group members, unlike the space combat xp. I took a few people up to grind FP in endor space, and we were each getting 8 fp per tier IV kill
