Try a Heavy Scyk, lvl6 reward engine, Borstel, MkIV Crafted shields and the fastest DI that will fit. Take it out like an Imperial would 
Stay fast, make headon passes targeting the engine until she's dead in the water; that means charge in, boost past to 600m out, turn around, wash, rinse, repeat. Slide up underneath and -poof-, no more gunboat Sure, the rihkxykxyxkxyxhhhhrxck has more firepower, but it's a big fat blaster magnet. In the Scyk you'll be surprised at how much you don't get hit, even if you have to joust it 3x more often.

Those amazing engines of yours might be faster but they are likely at least 5pts less in PYR, which would become a 10pt+ defecit once you RE the reward. Plus it will fit very nicely in any of the new ships. Tell me you don't want 77/77/77/92 in a heavy scyk or an actis...

Well, I have no idea what your talking about as far as a super engine being rewarded. I sure didn't receive one. 
Too late anyways for me to skip the mission as I already did it so oh well. Wish I'd known before. Anyhow it was still fun teaming up with some ace pilots to show me the ropes
