What the?!?! That's impossible, isn't it?
I thought the top speed possible was through crafted engines which level off in the 119s. How'd you ever get a 123?

Before the dark times, before the speed nerf.
Couple of weeks after JTL you could loot all sorts of fruity stuff. I remember someone from my server in the last phase of JTL beta said he got a 130 level 10 speed engine.

Nice but these days, my firm belief is that lvl 8's are the way forward. But..lvl 6's can still hold their own.

QFE.
This and BETTER is needed post ROTW
Dude, nice engine, but there's another factor you're not taking into consideration. Can the pilot put that in an ROTWship and REALLY use all that potential? Outrageous maneuverability equals outrageous lack of fine control.
That's why I keep coming back to the point that you can throw all the uber garbage you want into a JSF, and in the end it doesn't matter,I don't have to beat your JSF, I have to beat YOU. If you have some hypersquirrelly twitch fighter, thats all well and good, but what good is all that potential to a pilot who's likey setting his ship to a throttle setting that is off the sweet spot because at the peak, you're whirling so much you can't even line up a shot? You still have to ease off the twitch to line up a straight shot for the kill, and that's where all that dazzling maneuvering means nothing.
The only other way to handle it is to spazz shots at random and pray for a luck shot, which is pointless against an enemy with 1940-2500 shields.
