I thought it was the TIE "Mary-Sue and Stupid Looking" Predator Starfighter myself.
The only caveat is it is described as being slower then the standard TIE Fighter...

Fighters that could exist in our current spot in time (approx one month after the Battle of Yavin):
Freelance:
No clue when any of these were developed, so everything ![]()
Rebel:
Z-95 Headhunter
Y-wing
Y-wing Longprobe
X-wing
A-wing--arguable. It would just be finishing up as an experimental "on paper" design. It was designed by Dodonna and Blissex (same man who designed the Actis) after the battle of Yavin, but before the Rebel evacuation was complete, since Dodonna was captured during that.
B-wing--shouldn't exist yet. Project Shantipole wouldn't be underway yet.
Imperials:
TIE fighter and variants--yes.
TIE Bomber--maybe. No movie evidence, but the battle of Yavin wasn't the type of mission the Empire would deploy dupes for.
TIE Interceptor--doubtful, but possible. Maybe seeing limiting action, but none were on the Death Star.
TIE Advanced--Yes, in limited numbers. Based off Vader's design.
TIE Oppressor--doubtful. Most likely an offspring of Zaarin's research designs, which didn't begin until post-Hoth. Zaarin's research resulted in the TIE Defender's deployment. As seen in X-Wing Alliance, there were quite a few experimental designs--the TIE Oppressor most likely fit this mold.
TIE Aggressor--see TIE Oppressor.
All:
Eta-2 Actis Interceptor--maybe. There's gotta be a few kicking around the galaxy yet. I doubt the Clone troopers just trashed every Actis they saw after they'd already killed the Jedi pilot, plus some of them had to be in use by non-Jedi pilots.
ARC-170--probably. Not seeing military service anymore, but there should be a few around.
Bellbullab-22--not sure. Don't know anything about it.

Z-95 Headhunter-old but fits timeline
Y-wing, fits timeline
Y-wing “Longprobe”-Just a variant of the original, used for scouting, fits timeline
X-wing, fits timeline
A-wing-fits timeline, although it isn’t seen until Episode VI
B-wing, fits in-game ONLY as part of the first squadron of fighters since initial test, although it succeeded, was not to long ago
Imperial ships:
TIE fighter, fits timeline
TIE Bomber, fits timeline
TIE Interceptor, fits timeline although not largely used during this time period but is increasing every day due to Emperor Palpatine’s order to replace TIE fighters
TIE Advanced, fits timeline
Other ships:
Eta-2 Actis Interceptor, doesn’t fit timeline since it was redesigned (along with V-wing) into the TIE fighter, which itself was to be replace by the TIE Interceptor
ARC-170, fits timeline (barely), but isn’t used by any organization as it is decommissioned by the Empire, rather for individual pilots for personal use
Belbullab-22, fits timeline as a personal fighter, meaning that it is not standard issue to any organization (even during Clone Wars), rather for personal use
Freelance ships:
