Well except for the roll its as good as the best i can currently RE. Ive got a mass problem 26k is the lowest atm

i never really worry about the roll rate. dont get me wrong, rolling in a fight is important, its just being able to roll faster isnt really an advantage.

You should get an undamaged Un REd Privateer reward engine, nothing will beat that for armor/hp. The numbers you have are good, as any improvements would be pushing into the exceptional range for PYR, and drain. If, as you said you knew what you wanted, why did you spend your money on lesser parts? I think part of your frustration must come from paying for things that won't make it into the final mix.

On my server, ive been trying for almost a month to make a decent level 8 re engine.

so far these are the pre re part statsive came up with

817/ armour and hp

73.3 yaw

73.3 pitch

71.7 roll

23.8k mass

1490 reactor drain

99.2 speed

ive literally spent over 10 mil creds to get just this far.

ive been offering 1-5 million per part ! ahaha and i still cant make a decent engine

OK, as far as YPR goes, you're about where you're going to get it. You can maybe hold out for a 73-74, but you'll be a while. 99.2 speed is pretty good, actually, though there are faster engines out there. If you feel the need to hold out, they've been seen in the 100-110 range for speed.

I'll be deadly honest with you, I've gone up against JSF pilots with machines built around engines like that with only an old L6 reward engine with no stat over 70 and 95.9 speed and literally outflown them. You can build the most uber ship you want, but the reality is its going to be useless unless you know how to fly it. Its notall about the stats up here, there's a real chance for raw skill and pilot talent to overcome mechanics.

That's a pretty killer engine. Its not the absolute pinnacle of whats out there, but a competent pilot could put that in any ship he wants and perform like a champ.

It's nice to see what stats you ended up with, after checking my parts to see if any of them fulfilled the criterai of your loot challenge

Still looks like a really pretty engine from where I'm sat.

My advice. RE that sucker. Use it til you can get your UBER engine. What you have after RE will be more than DECENT.

If you keep waiting for the uber engines to roll in to your vendor or loot box you will drive yourself NUTS. The point of having good equipment is to fly.

I could be wrong on that last point. Maybe your goal is to get that UBER engine and put it on the wall in your house like a trophy?

Here is yet another idea in the list of ideas

Take your second best material you have and RE it.

Leave all the rest there.

This will, hopefully, alleviate some of the tension you might be feeling.

I do that all the time both to free up space and to test out the different numbers and their affects.

Not to mention it really does cut out some of the tension.

Just my two cents, chief.
