If there's a kb entry that csr will fix a specific issue it usually helped me to add stuff like "As the knowledgebase article so-and-so says to contact the CSR to get this fixed, I opened this ticket" after the description, it's quite problematic for them then to send you "we cannot do so" as an answer .-P.

Would you like to provide the exact text you used in your Ticket(s)? Maybe then we can see why a CSR was not able to assist you with your issue, and perhaps we could give some constructive advice on how to best present a problem in such a way as to maximize your chances of benefiting from a positive CSR action. If you were as sarcastic, blaming, and self-absorbed in your Ticket as your thread leads me to believe you might have been, I'd have a bit more understanding why you did not receive quite the promptest and more helpful service as can be expected from people who have to put up with pompous jerks in and out every day.

You know coming from having been in customer support for 5 years, and 2 years of that direct email support I find this appalling. Is there any effective way to report this poor performance to the supervisors for these CSR's? I know I would never have let the people under me get away with this for so long. I also know that I know nothing about the full business practice of the customer service center, but there has to be some accountability somewhere at some level. I can understand a CSR getting away with this on a bug that is not in the KB, but when something is clearly stated there is no way they should be closing these tickets like this. I proprose that anyone who has had this happen should collect the names, and ticket numbers. The only thing is I have no clue where those should go so a supervisor will actually directly get that information in order to review what is going on.

My 3rd ticket, the one that scored me an experience reset, I simply stated:

When I resigned from my Rebel Alliance Ace Pilot (Arkon's Havoc Squadron) I was under the influence of an inspiration buff. Due to the inspiriation buff that

grants 10% more exp, when I resigned and lost all current exp, I also lost 10% more. This put me in a debt of -210k starship combat exp. I ask that you reset

my experience, even though the 2 previous tickets, the CSRs that responded failed to do this. I have confirmation from CSR-ChrisG that this is very possible,

please reset my starship combat experience to zero.

The answer simply was:

I understand the inconvience this may have caused you, I have reset your pilot exp to zero.

Problem Solved.

Can't really sit online waiting for a response - my ticket has been open for three days now.

Also can't really blame the CSRs, I suspect the issues are with Sony and how they run customer service. Their games seem to be the worst - not just ingame serice, but try calling them on the phone or look at thier testing and community interractions. If they're running the SWG program like they ran Everquest's, then the CSRs are probably poorly trained, told not to do anything major without approval, and generally kept in the dark on things.

Yay, as I'm writing this my ticket has been answered, and closed! Apparently not getting pilot badges is a known bug and I should read the forums. Oh, and the negative xp thing is working as intended! Yipeeee!

Um, anyone who's had a CSR give them a badge know the name of that CSR so I can try the name dropping trick myself?

I am your savior, I had the exact same problem, except a little less extreme : I was -210k in the hole.

On the CSR board, on these forums, I explained my problem. CSR-ChrisG told me that CSRs CAN reset your exp to zero.

I sent 2 tickets before that post, and both said they couldn't do anything. In the 3rd, I specifically said that CSR-ChrisG said you could do it.

Next morning check my ticket, CSR-SpencerS had reset my experience to 0.

Bleh. I had this problem... I ended up with 6 million prestige in the hole. Took me a couple weeks, but now I'm back up around 7 million prestige again.

And to think... I remastered pilot just so I could get another borstel, so I could have a nice 22.x k mass level 8 gun... And then, while grinding back up to positive xp, I find a level 8 gun that should RE down to 21.7k mass. I'm pretty sure this will eventually be a good thing... I think.

Another way around this problem, is get a friend with a multi man fighter to invite you and run a couple of duties, I know it would be alot to ask, but, hey, what are friends for?
