The ironic thing is that with my OP, I intended to try and avod any flaming by being rather frank. Unfortunately, it failed miserably.

Last time I checked the JSF, all the RotW ships as a matter of fact, were bugged. To actually equip them you have to open up your datapad, bring up the radial menu and select 'delete'. See, they are bugged because SOE hates RotW and that's the only way to get parts to equip to them. I promise.
