I like that idea, but there should be some draw back to it other wise the player cities woun't be able to operate due to lack of income from the shuttle port

And it wouldn't take too much away from the shuttelport of the city. You still need to go to other player cities, and back to the star port if te mayor limits how many craft you can land in your city.

Not really, make it where the shisp parked there can only land there and travel onlyto npc cities, making the only route from player city to player city, the shuttle. I love the idea of landing in my city. I live up in space anyways, so getting to storage would be all the better. And for who said npc cities would die, make craft only be edited in npc starports. Make it city owned, for taxes, but not have a limit of storage (granted players only though, so it can be controled).

I would LOVE this.

I find myself often wishing that I could just fly in and land on a planet, although I realize it would be rather difficult for the devs. I just think it would add a HUGE level of realism to things.

Regarding the shuttleport stuff, I'm not sure that the mayor should need to limit who can land at the pad, rather, maybe it could be limited by number? I.e., if there are three ships parked there, nobody can land there, which would actually make more sense, and others would have to use the shuttle to get in.

Of course, that presents the problem of some jackass landing there and logging out for three months, hogging up a spot in the city, so maybe you'd need the ability to kick them from the pad.

I realize that the development of the feature, the way that I'd like it, is probably impossible for today's equipment (I could be wrong), but I would love to have the ability to simply fly down from space and land at Eisley. Man, that would be awesome!

The problem with this is technical though. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe the game see's player cities out side of that zone. Meaning, if I'm on dant, the game has no way to know what player cities are on naboo. Or if I'm in space, the game doesn't know what player cities are on the ground. I'm sure they could make it work, but I doubt they would put the effort into it. Neet idea though.

Ever seen a guild hall?easily the size of 2 medium houses and they have multiple levels not to mention they are only 6 lots

EDIT: added quote for clearification because I am brain dead and didn't remember to include it in the first place

Yeah, how ever the person was talking about a house, not a guild hall.

You missed my point... completely. If you take a medium house and attach a small landing pad(2 ships as defined earlier), it would be about the size, in terms of land covered, of a guild hall.
