My guess is pre RE, his QID was probably around 103 to 105 TS. Knowing ostat, he proabbly floating anywhere from 74 to 76ish YPR. But thats just a stab in the dark. What i am sure is that hes got at least 1.3 on the chassis YPR mods, more then likely 1.4.

Engine is a main part of it, but another part of it, (if you were getting out turned that is, and you know you are if you dont see him very much or cant get him in your sights for much longer then barely a second or so), is throttle setting and angle of attack. In specfic, since this was a JSF vs JSF dogfight, well, ROTW fighters like a JSF dont have a very high AOA (as opposed to pre ROTW ships like an A wing or even a T/O), but what they can do, is corner extremly well at just about any throttle setting. say anywhere from 65% to 100% throttle. One common thing in ROTW fighers (and some prerotw ships with L8 engines) is to corner at 65% throttle and make a smaller turn circle by virtue of less forward velocity. Having accomplished that, your inside his turn circle and your oppoent wont see you very much.

Leaph's done that to me in an Awing wtih an L8 engine at 65% throttle, while i was flying a T/I with a prenerf L6 at 80% throttle. I couldnt match him with that layout because i coudlnt corner very well at that low of a throttle setting. It was quite an education.

I should have left this thread alone but i was bored. Acutally i still am bored.

I'm bored, too. I wish I could go flying. I'm almost done with SA now. But I'm sick, and when I went out grinding this morning, I nearly lost it while trying to fight a B-wing in Kessel.

BTW, if anyone needs help with imp or freelance missions that dont involve shooting imps, let me know im always willing to help (for free too, im not mr space mcscrooge)
