yeah i looted one of those reactors, its 24k mass and 32k regen. its sweet, i put it in my nova and can run anything i wish with no problem at all

Gonna have to agree with Angry here. MostI hear people use these for are the ships with 5 million mass limits. Hell, you don't even have to RE the bastards with that. ThoughI did RE one of these with the level 6/RE lvl 8 reactorsI acquired. So now i have a level 6, 25K mass reactor that churns out 30k power. Interesting, but not really practical.

That's why I mentioned the L7 reactors. They end up being MUCH lighter and could easily be used in heavy gunships. Agreed, it's not particularly practical, but I used my 43k power 15k mass L7the time I wanted to turn my Vaksai into a drag racer. That way I could run EO4 and not have to think about it.

I use one of mine in a Krayt. The others I'm waiting to RE then sell.

My friend looted an incom mark 4 reactor with 34k energy( which is actually in my inventory...), 17k mass its lvl 7. Ive looted 4 or 5 RCT-Z reactors and 1 has 0 energy, the rest were like 500

I've noticed that the RCT-Z's seem to have been "nerfed". has anyone loot an RCT-Z in the past couple weeks that has high or even proper energy generation. I've looted several lately with numbers below 5000 generation. And none that even look decent.

My alt who is RSF Ace looted a 37K energy one. Mass is around 32K. Based on the other level 8's I have, I can already dro it to 29K mass in RE, but I'll wait a long time to find the perfect reactor that might be a level 6/RE8 or something.


I agree it's heavy but everytime I get cool loot I get excited, whether it's useful or not.

Items with a difference between cert and RE level will have the stats of the RE level, no need to wait for that, but you can find pretty low mass L8s

What ships/locations are dropping these. I have to finish my last two boxes for SA pilot so I may as well grind where there is a chance to get some of these
