Iwould also have to disagree with Rebel being the hardest....I solo'd all 3 of the Rebel squadrons except a couple of Teir 4 missions in the Vortex squadron....solo'd Inquistioner and Black Eplison on Imperial but needed alittle help with Storm Squadron.....though you are correct about Bomber Run, there is no reason and I mean NO reason an Imperial can't solo the Vette with it....I just finished thevette for Black Eplison in an advanced...saw the vette and did a Bomber Run 2, then came back and when I was able, did another Bomber Run2 then by the time I was able to do it a 3rd time all the weapons were down on the Vette which made taking out the gunships very easy from below..then was simply a matter of taking out the rest of the components on the Vette....but IMHO not counting the Vette, Rebel squadrons were way easier...of course I never really used bombing run during my Imp missions except on the Vette...
When it comes to the vette you can solo it no problem as Imp, as Rebel or PrivateerI normally die 2-3 times soloing it...I think the low mass on all the Imp ships is what makes it more challenging compaired to the others at least to me, andI thought the Imp missions were overall slightly harder then the Rebel ones.....Tiers 1 and 2 in any pilot squadron arn't that bad...but when you hit Tier 3 and just start flying a 50k mass Interceptor your pretty happy to have that extra 10k more mass..but when you hit a mission with a Teir 3 or 4gunship and a bunch of escorts it gets alittle crazy because you've either had to do without decent shields and armor or very good firepower in the 1 gun....you do have access to the Bomber but compairing that to the Y-wing is like compairing a bus to a mustang...lol..and at tier 3 you get the X-wing which makes the rest gravy....Again though my story might be different I guess if I hadused bombing run more during my missions, that would probly have made it quite abiteasier...

storm was definately the hardest so far...im trying to do the rebel ones now, but you have to join rebel faction after the first mission.....and i have -4300 FP...anyone on chilastra want to sell me some FP?? lol
You only have to join the Rebellion for the Vortex Squadron(starts on Naboo), and then, you only need to be an official Rebel for Tiers 2 & 3, because the trainers are in the Abandoned Rebel Base.
Your problem isn't that you're not a Rebel, your problem is that you have Negative Rebel faction. After the first mission, factionalTier 1 trainers(and possibly the others as well) won't talk to you if you're still in the negative.

Ill add a comment by saying:
Rebel: Hardest to master on all trees.
Imperial: Easiest... some times too easy... bomber strike 2 and 3 are a bit over the top.
Freelance: Mostfun.. especially Corsec...which was, personally my favorate squadron to do, after Vortex...
Nutral pilots have th emost fun.. their ships are the best in the game. I WISH I could have had a Dunlizard and company while doing rebel..
Other thaughts... The Kryat is better then the fire spray.
I have to disagree about rebel being the hardest. I soloed all but 1 mission of that as my first mastered profession. My guess on the hardset is black epsilon or storm squadrons in imperial, inquisition is way easy however.
I do agree that freelance has some of the best ships. Nothing ive flown quite compares to the kryat, and the dunelizard is by far one of the best ships in the game, at teir 1 no less.
I did not sat they could not be soloed De=ucimus, just that they were harder then either the imp or nutral missions.

I had zero dificulty on the imp trees.. I did not die a single time while doing them.. The only thing I knoticed is that a few of the Storm Squadron missions were very long, not hard. Simply put... all the ships the rebels have are inferior in pvp.. The y-wing has to large a profile, the x-wing is undermassed for its manuverability and is alos I big profile, and the a-wing is too light to be effective in the larger pve fights, given the accuracy of the imp npcs.. Its still my believe that for leveling th ebest ship is the tie bomber in the imp ships.. with that I was an unstopable jugernaut of distruction all the way to the end.

I was a Master Privateer(Smugglers Alliance) and tried every ship they offered out, barring the Krayt which was released just as I was finishing it, and moving onto Imp. I've gotta say, the Privateer ships are horrible to fly, really sluggish, slow and ugly, not to mention the fact they are like flying big bullseyes around. The Imperial ships are so much fun, and I'm ony Tier 2, I can't wait till I get the Advanced, its gonna be my baby.
A question for the Imp masters though, a few things I need confirming.
Can someone confirm how much mass a top Oppresor has?
Which is the ship that is hardest to turn/yaw? I belive its the bomber but need confirmation.
Thanks

See I was just the opposite, I had no problems with the Rebel squadrons..far as manuverability the Ties are way above any Rebel ships, no question about it...between the Tie Bomber and LongProbe I found I could fit anything I ever wanted in the Longprobe and it felt like I had twice the manuverablity...no doubt the Rebel ships have larger profiles...and I felt the X-wing with 100k Mass had excellent manuverabilty for its mass ratio.....far as the A-wing...exact same mass as the Tie Advanced...probly around the same profile...Advanced slightly better manuverable, just slightly and of course A-wing only has 1 gun.....when I leveled Imp I just jumped up to the new ship each Tier...only used the Bomber on the first squadron I mastered....with Rebel I went till I could fly the Probe..then of course switched to the X-wing.....I don't much care for PvP....it comes down to whos getting off the first few shots....though with Ties being smaller and faster, i'd much prefer to fly in one of those....but didn't add that to my opinion of how easy the squadrons were since PvP doesn't matter in leveling in the squadrons...
We all have our own opinions of course...my guildmate has done them all along with me...He hated the X-Wing, which I really liked flying....between Imperial and Rebel and I had a choice of either ships to fly, well i'd fly the Oppressor with the X-wing being a close 2nd...but not including masters I'd easily choose the X-Wing....as far as Manuverabilty in ratio with Mass the top non-master ships would have to be DuneLizard, X-Wing, and the Rixhyxex (However you spell that Teir 4 Privateer ship..lol)

Your jokeing right?? The Dunelizard rules.. its a joy to fly.. you put a decent engine in it, some nice weapons, and get some good droid commands and its music to fly.. For its weith class.. its a hands down winner.. Im a master and I STILL fly one. The privateer ships are much more eloquent in their handeling then the other factions.. Learn their little quarks and you will see they rock. With a dunlizard I can place my cross hairs on something and completely orbit it at pointblank.. not moveing my crosshairs off it at all.. most other ships cannot do that at speed.
And for master level ships.. the best is hands down the Kryat for pve.. Its just so well armed, manuverable and fast. Its large profile make it a bit awkward for pvp though.

I know I will end up regretting it, but I might have to reset rebel pilot to try these neut ships out myself.
Anyone care to post a description of what they think of each of the 5 tiered ships, compared to say the rebel equiv where this is one?
