I do not have a specific tally of each part, but I ran thatDebris Cult Destroyrun TWICE last night. I was carrying:
24 items in worn Backpack
Credit Chip
Extra Backpack used to save RE items
When Ifinished the missionsI had a full worn backpack, and ended up with nothing to RE so I threw everything I had left in the second backpack to "clean up" my inventory while I did some FP killing to see what else I could get. That means I had 76 total space parts after two missions, and know for a fact that during one run at least 2 of those items came from pirates that aggro'ed me. I ended up plinking some rebel ships for FP, andfinished the runwith another 10 parts for about a half hours worth of killing. Previously I never had to finish the mission to fill up73 spaces full of loot, and only recently had to actually run through the whole entire mission. The only difference between now and then is that before I RE'ed my weapons it took 60 to 70minutes to finish. Perhaps if I changed back to some weapons close to what I had I could see if the longer time to kill would result in the same results I was getting.
I will admit that sometimes I do have hot runs where I get around 50 pieces of loot, but never much more than that.

Okay, forget the numbers for a second lets look at the quality. Every single piece of loot I get killing tier 4-5's is absolute junk. I'm looting level 9 and 10 components that have worse stats than some level 6 equipment I'm using. My question is, have they nerfed the quality of loot?
I still turn over 2 houses worth of loot about every two weeks on my own.
I am still getting about the same type of finished RE'd products as the last 2 months. I have my bad days, my no*whatever* worth keepingweeks and my 4 sweet Lvl *whatever* of *whatever* in one trip days.
Sometimes ya hit the loot table well for a while, sometimes you don't. Almond Joy has Nuts, Mounds don't.

Thank you Monsofo, that is basically the point I've been trying to make, but you put it much more succinctly than I had.

Unfortunately, psikobunny seems to be right. Sometimes I'll go days without looting a weapon, and then I'll get 12 weapons in a row. Sometimes the level 10 stuff has worse stats than some level 2 stuff, and then a week later I'll get the best parts I've ever found that are level 10.
It's just slightly aggravating that the whole thing is so damned random with such a absurdly high standard deviation. Perhaps that could be clamped down a bit.

Ah ok Mr Bunny,
Debris Cult is not an original part of JTL, a station addition which has a very high loot drop, excellent choice for your example
Location Yavin -549 -686 2607 Debris Cult Cruiser
Kills 100 loot 33 ooh
As pertaining to your non original JTL loot spot!
Lets look at Original JTL spawn points;
Location Dantooine 316 -2130 -1719 Black Sun T3
Tonights tally
Kills 50 Loot 5
Tally 4 weeks ago;
Kills 50 Loot 24
Location Tatooine -2487 3140 2309 Hutt bombers T1
Tonights tally
Kills 100 Loot 19
Tally 4 weeks ago
Kills 100 Loot 45
As you can see there is a substantial drop in loot in areas which were once very lucrative.
The additional station mission content you used in your example are not relevant to this discusion as they always,since patched into the game been high loot ratios.
In future please get your facts straight and too the point as I tire of pulling people up on inept,clutered and self effacting posts, which serve no purpose other than enjoying the sound of ones own small and unsubstantiated opinion on matters
Next objective and informative post on the matter coming soon T4 amd T5 spots

but since Yavin missions were added pre patch 13 and the discussion at hand is about a drop since patch 13, my argument is hardly moot. If I cared enough to check, I'm sure I'd be confirmed in thinking ANY tier2-3 spawn will drop at this rate. If I went and grabbed one from a tier2 trainer, my numbers would more than likey be similar be similar. I know enough about statistics and psychology to know that neither side has made a compelling argument, and honestly I'm not that attached to making sure you know I'm right.
Don't try to make this an issue about my ego, its not involved. I'll still be collecting the loot I want in the way I choose and the amounts that have satisfied me. I understand the system, and I understand why things appear low one day and high the next. I accept it and keep playing, and won't cry the sky is falling when I have a crappy loot day.
PS excessive smarminess just makes you sound silly.

I was in Kessel last on a loot and XP session. The XP went very well I gained over 500k in less that 90 minutes. That's great for me. The loot was a different story altogether. I was able to use NOTHING I looted. Of the higher level stuff that dropped, I would not replace my current equipment for any of it. I mean a droid interface with a speed of 13.4 but a mass of 20000. Come on, my current one has a speed of around 14, but a mass of under 5k. Thats the way it went all night. I actually gave my entire lot of loot to a SW to try and RE. By the way, the Vette spawned in the middle of the air battle that I was engaged in. I hit one of it's escorts by mistake. You guessed it. TOAST before the hyperspace countdown reached 50%. The sight was awsome. The fire power overwhelming. I look forward to doing battle with it some day soon.
