There are a few of us that fly regularly on Sunrunner as well, although it does seem a bit emptier now than it used to. I started a rebel pilot guild complete with a salvage operations to put the best REd loot on all our ships. We have squadron colors and names and we practice wingman tactics and straffing runs on big ships. It is a lot of fun actually. We are all RPers though so we have no problems making up our own content.
Timing seems to be everything in space on Sunrunner. There was about 6-8 imperials in DS last night (self included, but I wasnt flying with their group).I scrambled some Rebel pilots I know, but the Imperials warped out only minutes before they arrived. There was even a Decimator was there to poke holes in
Oh well...next time.

Interesting. I might start a toon in Starsider to check things out. Maybe create a Sullustan. I like the fact that they can enter hyperspace quicker than the other species.

Wanderhome is pretty dead for space just a few pilots here and there. Deep space is empty I ran into another person there once in 30 trips. I have a toon on starsider (First char I made) maybe I'll have to grind pilot on there some and check it out.

Being a stubbornly dedicated neutral, I have to miss out on most of the GCW space PvP that goes on overon lovely lovely Starsider, but I still enjoy the large amounts of neutral content that people create. I also enjoy heading up to space when I know there is going to be a battle and watching the x-wings and TIEs go at it. From the way people talk about single groups or dead space over on other servers, I'd have to say that we indeed have the best JTL server. Just another badge to add to our 'home' I guess. Starsider for teh win.

Only if I can get part of the payment in ship paint and texture kits, for when I have to redeed my stupid ship due to the deep space faction bug.

Why? If you are a neutral pilot like Ramona, and have no ground faction you can easily switch kessel imp/reb faction by entering DS again. When I am helping on a corvette mission I usually take a trip to DS first, so I have the right faction - saves me the hassle of getting shot at by strike packages and such should they fly into my fire.

I am flying rebel on Kauri too. I am currently a Tier 3 X-wing pilot. I only see the occasionalpilot aroundDant.,Yavin, Tat. and Nabooin PvE grind up to master pilot, but I am sure there a lots of them at Kessel and Deep Space because I sometimes run into ace pilots on the ground.

Don't be fooled. A lot of people run around with the tag on the ground but are demeaning the title by doing nothing in space. There are a good amount of supposed"Master" or"Ace" pilotson Kauri who are just PvP ground junkies who wouldn't be able to pilot a toy plane, much less a star fighter. Most of the PvP I've been involved in was combat with faction grinders. But there are some serious pilots up there. Dant, Yavin and Tat aren't big battle grounds because those areas are mostly filled with low tier spawns.

Because I don't want to be reb or imp. Switching faction back and forth isn't being neutral, its just switching sides. You are still always on one side or the other. And joining either side, even temporarily, goes agains the grain of my characters rp. I also enjoy the added challenge of having to watch every shot I make when flying with factioned friends, trying not to hit friendlies. But mainly its because when I'm in Kessel, I want to be able to blow up EVERY target, not just half of them.
For me neutrality is like being Switzerland. A heavily armed, pyromaniacal, bloodthirsty Switzerland.

By all means, get in touch, I'd love to assist you on any mission you're having trouble with. I'm toying around with my Oppressor again, trying to find a better loadout on blasters... It's been borked so many times it's not even funny, but my next few should make me rather powerful. If I'm on, send me a /tell.

Been thinking about trying out Starsider as I also hear there's more role play going on there, then just what I'm used too. Space is kinda dead on Kauri, I could spend about 45 mins to an hour in deep space and no one will come along.
