Thread: TIE Aggressors
First off ENOUGH with the angry Pilot FAQ answers! Its applicable sometimes, but not always. Besides, if everyone just read the FAQ, there would be no threads here!
I got my butt whooped by aggressors at first too, and still do sometimes. You need to zip in and take out that rear gun ASAP. Than they are a fairly slow turning target ![]()

In short, Tie aggressors suck.
They suck going against the NPC version as a rebel pilot
and the PC version sucks as well.
The PC version is a completely different type of suck, though.
And I never had many problems with the Aggressors. But I joust a lot more than most people.

Meh, a good level 7 crafted shield and capshunt is enough. A decent shot will have the Aggie dead and done before his shield even needs a shunt.

Yeah thats what i meant. Just worded it wrong.
I have been on both sides of these buggars. I found that with CTSS4 they are nothing to worry about, especially with a good shield, which i looted fairly early on the way up Smuggler's Alliance (when I was on the receiving end
)
I bought one over the weekend, and took a friend up in it. The acceleration sucks in all directions. Forward, PYR. That's it. It just sucks, IMHO. Gunner couldn't shoot anything, and I couldn't keep up with anything to save my life. Of course, it was good practice to roll and such in a fight to try and stay on a target, but man, it was a fiasco!
I went back to my Heavy TIE. ![]()

Well, once W1 is gone, you've managed to blow through either front or back shields and armour, so of course it will be easier...
What I meant is that the agressor is not a dificult ship to follow. Of course a ship that has a wepon destroyed has been softened up...... if it did not have a rear gun in the first place, it would not be hard enough for it's level, or it's reputation.
I have noticed that the tier 5s in kessel will pay more attention to rebel npcs than me. So I take a little more time. Target wep 1. Line up a good shot and then blast em. On a recent foray to Kessel I had components drop off almost every aggressor and nothing on everything else. Loot tables are strange and vindictive beings!

Why did you do the work for him? That's why we all say "Read to FAQ". People just expect us to give them the answer and you just encouraged the behavior. Why? Why did you do that?

What is the point in having a community, if all we say is "read the faq"
Provided, it is a great source of info.
And yes there is that whole "are you too lazy to read the faq?" argument. But on the other side of the same coin, there is "are you to lazy to lend someone some help?"
And I've already heard the "im getting sick of typing the same info over and over again cause no one will read the faq"
I'm saying that there is always someone that will give the info, so if you don't want to, then don't say anything at all and someone will come along with something that will help the original poster. Otherwise that person might get tired of waiting and go ead the faq on his/her own.
But just saying "read the faq" is just saying "I dont know off the top of my head and I cant be bothered to look it up for you cause I'm only here for myself"
On annother note, I do find the tie agressor npc to be hard. I have actually taken out tier 5 agressors easier that tier 4 agressors for some strange reason.
