my three ships i use right now are.

DuneLizard(for everything), Krayt(when i feel like killing everything in 10s or if i want to take a friend up), and YT(For fun and the room)

but i used the Dunelizard up untill i got my kimo flew that a bit till i could fly a Rihxyrk( didn't like the handling at all so i suited up my Dunlizard again and mastered Pilot. then after mastery i took it down trying to find the best fighter. Went first to the IX but for some reason i did not like it as a fighter dont remeber why. So i went to the Kihrax which is a nice speed fighter and great handling but i did not like the weapon placements on it. so i dumped it and suited up my Dune again and tried it out and i am loving it. with my nice lvl 8 engine in it it flys like a dream .

i flew my dunelizard up to tier 4, then got a rhix. i love the lizard, but i just cant say no to being able to stick a level 8 engine, the reward shields, and 3 level 8 guns into the rhix and still having tons of mass left

I liked the Dunelizard, but wait till you fly a krayt.

Have a Firespray, but don't fly it. Over rated and not worth the millions. It has a nice weapon load, three guns and two missiles, I think. For me it's mostly a deep space no decay kill capital ship once in a while kind of thing. It's almost like a car you don't want to drive cause you might scratch it.

Love my krayt, 210K mass, very similar in layout with the Kimo. It can be nicely agile if you load it right. You get four weapon slots and one missile. One turret is for another player. Put a couple L8 guns with a L6 and you can toast with the best of them. One real nice thing is the weapon spread. One is straight out from below. One straight on top and the third(or fourth, the third is the turret actually I think it might be two...) comes off the wingtips. This makes a nice spread if you can learn about where it converges, especially if you aim to converge a little beyond the target and widen your hit zone. The L8 guns do about 3500+ max dam and the spacebomb does like 12K or you can do my favorite and load up with M3 Concussions. One shot with a missile as you zoom in takes out the sheilds and the guns finish it off.

Oh, yea, I also have a YT...I hear they're cool with a crew, but haven't been able to get a full crew up as of yet. It's mostly a slicing wagon, where better (and safer) place to slice than in a YT?

I was the first kid in my guild to load out and fly a krayt when they came out. Put my prenerf level 8 108 speed reward engine in there. Took a guildie up in it and... eh. The handling wasn't up to what I wanted. Sure, she was fast. Butthe throttle control and the drifting when you come out of a turn is something that I don't think I'll ever get used to. So I sold the thing to a guildmate and refitted my kihraxz.

I know this contradicts somewhat what I just said about the krayt, but I *do* enjoy flying the YT-1300. Probably because I can concentrate on the challenge of handling the sluggish controls and leave others to worry about actually hitting the targets. Keeping yourself in the blindspot of a gunboat in kessel while your gunners merrily blast away at the thing is a great deal of fun.

Of the ships I own, I adore the dunelizard most of all. A couple of RE'd level 7 guns, level 8 reward shields, and the rest of the equipment for a light-medium fighter generally have me closing, shooting, and destroying targets as fast or faster than most heavy fighters I've seen.

All this, and the style 1 lizard is pretty damn sexy. Whoever said otherwise must have a problem with girls that have curves.

the dune is great for dangerous work like missions, pvp, and taking down cap ships, but if you are just mowing down gunboats for loot nothing beats the rhik. having seen one with 3 re'd lvl10 gun take out a tier5 gunboat in under 15 sec i can defenatly understand taking a hit in survivabilty for the sheer firepower.

I love my Dunelizard, used it up to master and have it really nicely equiped with RE parts now. Flying it instead of my krayt for now, still getting all the parts to set up my krayt really nicely. After I do that I'll fly the krayt more but I'll always keep the dunelizard set up in my datapad.

Wasn't there a screenshot of that Rhyk a couple months ago on these forums?

I think it was strapping three L10, 4600 damage cannons at 8/8 mods if i remember correctly. Definatly not a guy you want helping you on a disable and capture mission

Slightly off-topic, but it's because I can relate...

While flying my X-wing at Tier 4, I helped one of my guildmates do the first Vortex mission...I blew up three or four YT-1300s while trying to disable them for him to capture. They made me back off after the last one and they did it...just a bit too much firepower, I guess...
