On Lowca, Imp pilot Managon and Imp Privateer Aldia were honorable after I killed them a couple times, even giving me a ride on Aldia's YT-1300 after Managon saw my Nova Courier.

/salute to all the Rebs of Starsider. This last battle was another great one, with our first engagement the fiercest of all--there were only two or three of us left after that one. A full squad heading in, and next time I look up, it's just me and my wingman in range.
Look forward to seeing you all again next Saturday.

Yup, that was a nice battle. For those curious what went on, here is the (in character) news report: http://farpoint.assembly-online.com/article.aspx?id=298

cool story
I wish we could get that knd of PvP action going on on Scylla. I have been trying, but no one can seem to make a commitment to be on, or else not many really want to do it

I will never be able to contribute any names, as i never make note of them. The only thing i ever notice is its a player piloted (insert ship type here). I never bother to look to see who's piloting it, and i really don't care, im too preoccupied to worried about the who's who

Thanks for the Kudos
Of course you realise I have to post a status report...
Encountered Hated Rasp (A-Wing) unexpectedly after 4 days off space right on entry into DS... The ISS Emminent Doom (Oppressor) was good to claim first blood, but couldn't withstand the second melee.
Switching to the Purpose-Made ISS Ballerina (Interceptor) gave the Empire the chance twice more to demonstrate superiority of both man and machine.
Count:
Viduus: 6
Ryland: 3
Until we meet again, my most worthy adversary....

Bah, I'm surprised I actually achieved ONE kill today... I have better odds winning at strip poker!
...but that's a story for another time.
Anyhow, we'll hone in our skills in this epic struggle in Deep Space--though one of us may be the ultimate "victor", I believe we'll both come out much stronger from these practices... to the point where we are untouchable by an entire galaxy!
// see how I weasel out of accepting any actual loss?
Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me...

Let me tell you a brief summary of Viduus's skill in a Squint:
I've never had a space duel go on for more than maybe a minute... but when I ran into Viduus the other day in Deep Space, we had a bout that went on for what felt like maybe ten minutes (and was possibly much less). Never have I seen a person who has mastered not only the art of shipbuilding so well (those TIEs are a FINE piece of work
), but whose very maneuver is so precise and he makes shredding your ship to metal spagetti look effortless.
/salute Viduus
May the gates of your enemies be yours (except me, of course
).
My A-wing, for reference, is the "Hated Rasp".

I'd like to give honorable mention to a few other honorable Space-PvPers on Ahazi:
Taea
Arandis
Bodrick
Houston
the Praetorian Legion, which I run into quite often
...and I don't have my list of cool people with me at the moment, but there are many more.
--these peeps are fun to go head to head with; they play fair, don't whine, and treat their challengers with respect.

Add JohnP to the list...
Saw him in /who, sent "Incoming Imperial Ace!"... he was ready for me, and flew a good fight. I landed the first and only...
He came back for seconds, too, and sent "Awesome Flying!" afterwards.
Pretty good yourself, JohnP.

Mav, Kalhb, and the rest of the group we just brawled it out with. Mav and I ended up nearly 2km away from the main battle for a Squint vs. A-Wing showdown. By the time I got back to the main group, it was Kalhb vs. 4 TIEs, and he held out for 60-90 seconds and may have taken one of us down before we finally dropped him.
Was a 6 on 6 or so and as soon as I saw Mav on radar I thought Oh God, well I'd better try to deal with him.. talked to him some afterwards and he said he was gunning for me from first radar, too. It's a lot of fun to have enough of a rivalry that it comes out in the brawls as well.
