after 2 days i realized i needed to go back to the guy in Deadric cantina, i got the laser and hold about 3 weeks ago and got caught up in mining and never went back to him, here he refered me to the Captian on the third level of the tree on Kash where you complete the quest. DOH!!

as for the Y-8, i'm lovin it, after having my Shipwright build an Elite engine, speed is not an issue, i can catch any asteroid

one problem i have found is while the tractor beam does fit in the 2 turret slots on the ship, you cannot aim it. i don't know if it's a bug, or if the beam is meant to be a stationary weapon aimed out the front of your ship.

therfore for solo use i use only weapon 3 equiped with the mining laser, and chase down asteroids and shoot them to caprute them in my hold

idealy the ship seems to be meant for mutliplayer (crew) mining, one to shoot the mining laser, one to fly and use the beam, the third for the turret as defense against the asteroid pirates. But i'm sure you understand that's it's nearly impossible to get people to help you do such a redundant, boring activity such ans mining asteroids

But i do however give the interior of the bridge 4 stars, i really like it, and you'll see why once you're init.

oh, and just an FYI, if you have 2 ships in your inventory that have multiplayer interiors, you can load the Y-8 in your datapad, but not launch it. you will have to deed or delete one of those ships. i chose to delete my yacht
