Yay. Thanks for the updates, guys, glad to see we got a fix on this so quick.

We still need to get a fix for the ISD lasers though.
Whenever the ISD fires at anything the whole of deep space lags out. This happens even if you cant see the ISD.
Its not as much of a problem now because you can kill it and reset DS, but it would be nice to see DS restored to what it was before the CU.

Wholeheartedly agree there.

Thats fine as long as the blind spots are no longer blind
WAY too easy to destroy the ISD.

Even though I"m one of the guilty parties who habitually killed the ISD, I agree with you. The ease in killing it kills the content. I would really enjoy the idea of forming a huge squadron to take the thing out properly. No real need in taking out all the weapon systems, but doing dive runs on the subcomponents. However, restoring DS as it was and keeping the blindspots would be an improvement over 1fps in deep space.

I am guilty of taking down the ISD ... in no way should a lone X-Wing (or any lone ship for that matter) be able to take out an ISD. As I fly close, they should launch fighters after me ... (Neutral/Rebel) to "Investigate" ... and be ready to "pounce" the moment I get too close.

In MY experience, it always HAS launched fighters at me, hehehe.

There's only one RIGHT way to make the SD a challenge: Make it mobile. Enlarge the zone, put the rebel station in the middle, and have the SD cruise along the edge of the zone all the way around(without the wild piloting moves of the Corvette, just a calm gradual turn before it hits the corner).
If you can't sit in a blind spot, but the blind spot still exists to at least survive in for a few moments to damage a component for a few short seconds, the challenge is increased, but it's not made impossible.
Quite honestly, I'd find it a lot more fun, too,

the isd can still be solo'd, but it takes a bit longer since i have to strafe the bridge now, and its tought to aim when you get 1 fps.
the rebel station however is invinsible right now, not taking any damage.

Sorry, I totally agree that the ISD should not have blind spots. That was a good fix.
But deep space is totally lagged out whenever the ISD fires at something. Even reb npcs. This should be fixed. It never used to happen before the CU.

You'd think they could come up with an AI smart enough to only fire the guns that have a chance at hitting you.... oh wait, I said think. Sorry.

This issue with the ISD has killed off DS on my server. Its a serious issue. Is it being looked into at all?
I was up there again today. Whenever the reb npcs reach the ISD the whole of DS gets completely lagged out. I killed the ISD to reset DS. Not that easy with 1 frame per second.
Then I shot at the ISD again to see how laggy it got. Back to 1 frame per second!
It was just me, the ISD, and about 5 tie fighters in the whole of deep space and the ISD firing its guns caused me to go to 1 frame per second.
Thats not right. They need to fix this.
