true it is a minor annoyance at the most but most of us didn't even know that our candles and lightsneeded to be fixed and the devs did a hot fix for that.

It is a good idea. Don't listen to these two. Sometimes I think some people on this board resist all changes just for the sake of resisting change.

actually this is a really good idea. it's really annoying to have to scroll to the 1 ship you fly regularly every single time. i had to expand the screen so the top is cut off just so i don't have to do it every time. seriously the first 100 times it wasn't that bad, but the last 100 started to suck.

Do we really need a fix for this? Is it that hard to scroll past, at the most, 5 ships? It seems to me that it would take just as long to hit the button as it would to scroll past the ships.
/agree.. *plus* we need bug fixes before we even start to worry about changing the interface.

you know, i don't believe the original poster ever assigned a priority on this. you guys don't have to be jerks just to be jerks.

Not being a jerk, just saying it dosent seem very useful considering that all you have to do is a quick flick of the wrist to scroll down.

No discussion of priority at all. I'm just wondering if there is really a need for this. It takes half a second, at most. Is that half a second really that important?

apparently plenty of people think so. i'm one of them. don't like it, don't @#%% on this guy's good idea, just don't post or don't check the box if this is ever implemented.
and you might not have been discussing priority, but the other guy did, saying bugfixes should come first.

plus a half second X10000 isn't a half second anymore. for me the only thing the scroll does is give other overts a half second more time to jump me.

No a problem at all... I'm just an UBER Slacker, and the less work i have to do the better.

Have to agree it's a useful idea, as for thecheck box to enact it, this should probably be put in the Interface section of the Configuration menus;
If it's not possible for the Devs to do this idea how about moving the active ship or the only one in system to the top of the list, how about that?

I'm sorry, I wasn't aware that this had become a "only post if you agree with me" forum while I was away this weekend. Apparantly, we as gamers have become so lazy that we need to save ourselves half a second of scrolling through a window to play a game. I've leave you to your slothful ways now. Hope all this back patting doesn't get your thirsty, the refrigerator is an awefully long way away...
So what would be your reason for NOT implementing this? What positive side is there to scrolling?
And it sounds like a good idea to me....either that, or have it so the last ship you traveled with would jump to the top of the list, at least.
