I am a wook myself, and although I really hate the fact that I can't use my ace rewards, I don't think making the helmet wearable for wooks, would be the solution. Somehow it doesn't seem wookie'ish to wear a helmet and jacket like that.

I would feel more for different rewards per species, although I have no creative ideas yet on what would be a suitable one for a wookie... Maybe a nice belt, gloves, backpack or whatever....

Yes, it should be allowed. With all the continuity problems in the game already, this seems to be a small issue. Besides peace>continuity.

Everyone should be able to wear it. Maybe the solution is to make race specific ace helmets.

Can everone wear the jacket or is that also humanoid toons only ?

I could care less if I can wear it, But I should be able to get something or at least be able to sell or give it away. As it is now, I cant trade the Helmet or the Jacket, so it is a waste of storage space to me.

Wish I never got the damned things as they are in the way.

Yes; Don't let racism even get close to this game. Even if it is a ficticious alien race. Being in the military myself I know that if you are issued a piece of equipment it should fit and function for you. Clean, Dry, and servicable.

Hate to point this out but a lot of the Rebellion was caused by racism against the nonhuman races by Imperials. And it isnt racism, its xenoism. You do know this IS a game right? Based on a story created by George Lucas? Not the real world. Hence the inclusion of hatred by Imperial humans of aliens is perfectably acceptable. And more than enough reason for me to vape Imps.

I think it is stupid that people bring the question of racism into Starwars and treat it as an issue. When it comes down to it, the Empire was a fascist, Xenophoebic, intolerant government but it -had- to be or it wouldn't be evil would it?! No, 'aliens' should not be allowed in the Imperial navy and I agree for canon reasons and wouldn't have it any other way if this game actually did stay true to canon, however believing that doesn't make a person racist in real life. There is a boundary and that boundary is defined by these two words. Fiction and Nonfiction. I find it horrifying that such scrutinous political correctness is being promoted by some of the fan base in and out of this game at times.

Now saying that, for the game and this is what I believe for this context, yes I think aliens should be able to wear the helmets and be in the Empire etc. Why? Well because this is a game. It has been made blatantly obvious that this game is not following canon and rather than being set in the period it would have us believe, it is more of an all round Starwars 'Themepark', as in SOE have made a StarWars universe which is more or less timeless. You can be whatever you like and do whatever you like (more or less) so if you are a person who wants to be a Wookie TIE Fighter pilot...you should be entitled to the gear. I mean, above all other things, how is the damn thing going to breathe? TIE Fighters didn't have life support. In fact! It could be argued that you should get a life support suit straight away upon flying your first ever mission since currently you only even get the flight suit (sans helmet) at tier one no matter what race you are. The fact too, that Wookies can wear clone armour says somthing. I mean CLONE armour. The contradiction is in the name. One size fits ALL or no wait, there was a wookie clone..erm, no not buying that sorry so yeh..SOE should make everything fit everyone. In fact, I think it is appalling that humans cannot wear Wookie Ceremonial armour

Feel free to blow holes in my arguement. Fact is though, I kind of feel this whole topic is ridiculous.

Yes. If the Empire considers me good enough to be an Ace, I think they can take the time to modify a helmet to fit me. (Now the mass produced TIE helmet, while I would like to wear, I can understand.)

This is how I feel. Give non-human species options in lieu of the jacket/helmet combo. I have both just sitting in my shop, looking pretty...
