Thread: Oh How I love Low Mass Parts!
Anyway. While we're talking about loot, I need to find that thread with the list of all the names of each component for each level. Can anyone help me out? I am oh so retarded with the forum search. If not..well I'll just keep digging through threads until I find it.

Very nice. Whats the mass on that bad boy? Best i have atm is 14003, best i've had is 13430, been trying to get another one similar to it, but its turning out to be nigh on impossible to find. :/

I've started getting quite obsessed with scanning the bazaar search of late, must find a L8 with over 0.667 vs armor, must find a L8 with over 0.667 vs armor, must find a L8 with over 0.667 vs armor, must find a L8 with over 0.667 vs armor, must find a L8 with over 0.667 vs armor, must find a L8 with over 0.667 vs armor, must find a L8 with over 0.667 vs armor...
Oh ya totally. I managed to re one of my few QID's yesterday to 21.somthingk mass. The mass drop was only looted yesterday too in DS so is perfectly possible to obtain another...if I grind for another few days , but I nearly jumped out of my chair. I think that has just made a lvl 8 blaster along with my lvl 7 shield pheasable on my A wing. If so..expect to be seeing another A-wing related thread from yours truly next week or somthing.

12769.9, which is on a T&B KX8 along with a .309 pre-RE refire.
Ok, low mass thread saves me from starting a new one.
Does anyone know the lowest a post re lvl 8 cannon can go? Also, which cannons would I be looking for prior to re to achieve this 'low' mass. So far, I've never re'd a cannon of the lvl 8 variety below 25k and I'm sure I've seen 23 k guns and even maybe a 22k lvl 8 re job before. If I'm to make this lvl 8 gun,engine, lvl 7 shield A-wing work, this gun needs to be -low- in the mass area and I think 23k mass would cut it, but lower would be even more spangly.
My best Level 8 Borstel RE ended up with a 22460 mass. Not sure which gun had the original 23K+ mass to start with though.

The problem with L6s is that you need about two "double-whammy" loots to make it a rounded blaster.
Start looking for a sub-2k drain with a .66x or higher eff on something as well. Or a high max damage with a decent EPS. L6s are all about compromises, since there's no part that's the de-facto "best" in anything like the Boltdrivers and Borstels/Tricannons.
hoersh kessel "scorcher" 3 = defacto best damage usually in 2.4k to high 2.7k range
