The only things I've noticed that reset the other commands is

A. Repairing your ship at either a Starport or using the Rebel in space repair commands

B. Using Emergency commands. Emergency Shield, Emergency Weapons, and anything else that temporarily disable certain components\

C. And obviously, landing

I thought so too, but I am 100% sure that engine overload 4 resets my other droid commands....for me anyways. for example, I launch into space, use cap overload 4 (that takes my cap energy to 1500), then I use engine overlaod 4 and my cap energy immediately resets to defualt....like I said, it might be a bug....but I know it happens to me....I use to get mad when I'm in a dogfight and it would happen....at first I thought the commands wore off or something....but then I did a couple of test and found that engine overload 4 was the cause...it reset every droid command I used before it.

Also, this has nothing to do with the pilot commands....this is the droid commands only. When I don't use engine overload 4, I never have a problem...but soon as I use it, the above happens.......honestly, I have put it off as a bug since I had trouble with a lot of droid commands not working for me in the past.....at one point I could use no other droid commands except the rebel ones....and I was a 4-4-4-4 pilot and I clearly understood how to use them.....they just simply wouldn't activate in space...but when I activate a rebel command, it would work. Droid and droid interface was ok and top of the line...emergency shields front/reat, the adjustment commands and the rienforcement commands worked fine....but any imp or freelancer droid commands wouldn't work at all.

So since I was bugged in the past, I may be bugged with engine overload 4 as well.....anyway, it doens't really matter anymore....I only need engine overload 4 with my b-wing and I don't fly that tug boat anymore.....back to the longprobe for me, it's much more realiable....

I'm a 3/3/2/2/ Freelancer, but I was thinking of switching to Imp. Before I do that, I was going toprogram some Freenlancer droidcommands for myself. Do the droid chips burn out when youactivate them, or can I keep using the same ones over and over? In other words, will I have to program dozens of chips to make sure I have enough to last me a while? Thanks.

Once you uplaod it to a flight computer it is there until you remove it. However you will need to burn a few of them because you need to be certified for the different levels of flight computers. I say burn 2 each. Use the first one for when you can use v3 flight comps and then the second when you can use v5 flight com. I personally have not found a need to use any other ones. I can get all my programs into a v5 comp.

-Reactor overload 3

-Engine overload 3

-Cap overload 3

-Weapon overload 3

-Cap to Shield shunt 3

-Rear shield reinforcement light

-Front shield reinforcemant light

I find this to be a pretty nice set up.
