Thread: Pilots aren't getting badges for Aceing Due to Respec....

I placed a ticket. I am hoping the CSR understands the situation. I want to move to the next piloting squadron as well. To earn another badge. Piloting is not ground combat. Therefore should not follow this Respec badge rule!

I'll try and remind myself to confirm this when I master Vortex Squadron. (Doing the other Rebel pilot squadrons whilst 2x exp week is here

Then I'm going to float this particular thread on top so I know when new posts have been made.I plan on getting ace for Havok by tomorrow night. Then willing to drop itfor my third ace if the badges are turned back on.

Hmm, I mastered Corsec on Intrepid - didn't get a badge but got a medal ... would rather have the badge so I can go do RSF...

CSR respoded by telling me that Badges are off because you can respec the professions.
Does this CSR even play the damn game? You can't and never could respec Pilot. He said to wait til the end of Respec. Thats bull, I want my badge, and I want to move on to the next profession, not wait two weeks for my badge. I don't play much on the ground and space is one of the only reasons I'm still here.

Well the server crashes screwed up xp week. I didn't get double xp last night after bria came back up. I'm hearing it's true across the board for west coast servers. Wierd how i was getting double invest xp on radiant.

Well, they know about it now, at least. Normally I wouldn't dare hazard a guess on a timeline for a fix or change, but just considering the situation and their turnaround time on bugs right now, I wouldn't be surprised if this were addressed in the next 1-3 days.
I'd hope so, anyway, as anything longer than that wouldn't have much point to it, would it?

Another double xp day wasted because I can't go to the next squadron. Curse this respec! Curses! I could be done with the last 2 Squadrons by now. BUT NO! Lets make it so pilots don't gain their badge... I guess this issue doesn't effect many people. If it did I know they would be upset as well.

The devs are aware of the problem, so I do expect some kind of remedy before it's all said and done. They've been doing a pretty good job on cutting through the bugs and issues that came with the CU. And that's coming from a long-time smuggler.
If anyone does get a badge for mastery, be sure to let us know. Fixes don't always get announced and it'd be nice for everyone to know the moment they can safely move to a new squad.
