I used the Dunelizard right up until i couldnt fit anything better in her.(4433 I think)

Next was an Ixyen (was scared of the manuver on the Ryx) good ship.

Finaly broke down and got a Ryx a short time later (wanted the 3rd gun).

With a high 60/low 70 PYR,80+ speed engine and EO3 handles like a dream at ~700 max at ~990.

I loved that ship, when i got ace i went to a Krayt (same manuver, turrent, 20k more mass, and 5% faster)

Still have a Ryx equipped for mining.

I havent PVPed so I have no advice there, but i have soloed many a vette with both.

Hope this helps.

Yup... the Rihx is by far the best tier 4 ship (in my humble opinion at least). Good mass, but slow and lumbering. But loaded up with guns and ordnance it can take out most ships in one or two passes. And it can carry the shields that make maneuvering unnessecary

Jedi are seriously underpowered. They need a snare, invisibility, a ranged nuclear attack and a flying mount that farts fire

I like the Rix. It has a fantastic weapon layout and a huge mass. Its not the most manoeuverable ship in the galaxy but its not bad.

Really its going to depend on how you like to fly. Do you like to joust or do the circle o doom thing. If the circle is your thing then get something light such as the vaksai and plink away at them. If you like to see things disintegrate on your first pass, try something heavy like the Rix.

I like watching things go boom. I like the Rix.

I have 2 RE'd Reward lvl 8 blasters on my Jedi fighter things go boom real fast The Rix is a nice ship but I love the feel of a nibble fighter

You need to review your weapon load out then.. My JSF has 2 SW made lvl7s with a very fast fire rate. I chew through the targets with almostsolid lines of green energy (think the laser used on the Firespray used by Jango in Ep2). Even the B-wings drop in mere seconds...and even on head on passes...and once I am on their tale...they can not get me off.

As a privateer, I recommend to you the Heavy, Dune or getting the JSF or the Necrosis fighter (which has the same stats as the JSF) when you get to 4333. The big ships with 3 guns are nice, and speced right can head on and even do the circles okay, but if you can get a ship that hits 1K or more in speed and carries 2 weapons...you are good to go...and will be dropping fighters with ease.
