Well, this is my second logitech joy in 2 years. The first one was the Extreme Digital 3D and now the Extreme 3D Pro. The first one shown signs of wear similarly to what others experienced and so I was to find a better alternative. After a lot of research and experimentation I came to the conclusion that handling of the Logitech is so much finer that I accomodate to the idea of wear and that it won't last to ethernity. I am a bit more cautious with using it and so far (after a short tweaking) it has no problems thought I use it for a while now. As with all unnecessary hadware manager programs staying in the taskbar I just disabled it.

aye the first joystick i got after finnaly giving up on getting my game port microsoft sidewinder force feedback pro ( may she rest in peace )

was the saitek cyborg...it felt good in the hand....and i REALLY liked the way it kept centered with the spring...only thing i had wished was the spring be adjustable...like little disc on the bottom turn one way or the other and one tighten other loosen...

after playing with it fora few hours i decided i wasn't going to be able to stick with it because of not being able to get out of center smooth enough...

got the logitech and was just like the microsoft and smooth out of center...and was even better handling after i downloaded the new drivers...

well then of course drunken bee syndrome hit me hard =/...and eventually pinned it on the logitech...

just can't say how disapointed my wrist and I were =/...those 3-4 straight mining runs really take it out of you....have since cut down to only 1-2 mining runs in an entire day because just can't stand using a mouse in space for longer than a hour or two
