I just know someone bought them for the profit in selling them.
Based on the amount of useless L10 loot given in Deep Space, this might make grinding there MUCH more financially lucrative.

Because level 10 components are not all that easy to get. Because you need 10 level 10's just to make 1 RE. Because there might be just 1 good stat on that lousy level 10 that the SW needs to make that 1 Uber RE. Because even if it is a totally lousy Level 10 it is still not worthless to the SW as a "filler" part for RE.

Were putting apples in the same basket as oranges here. I'd pay a lot more than 10k for a level 10 engine or gun. But i wouldn't pay near that much for anything else. Level 10 capacitors are pretty much junk for the mass they have from what I've seen for instance.
DO not sell stuff to chasie dealer a shipwright will pay more
Go to a shipwright vendor and offer it for a price they will pay more for a good part to re
