So what's the best energy drain anyone's found on a level 8? I've either had some bad luck, or level 10s drop lower drain than 8s.
Why do you always ask the really hard questions? ![]()
I think I have one that's around 1500 pre RE, but ill have to check and let you know.
Man, I got ganked.
.. my Nym's rewards were a 90 speed engine and a 4000 max blaster

I keep the Corellian gun even if the stats suck for the simple reason that the effect is really really cool. BOOM BOOM BOOM
Every one of the shields I've seen has a really high HP, in relation to other L7 shields. When RE'd to take advantage of that, with the added bonuses of low mass, high recharge, and much lower reactor drain than a 1900hp crafted, it becomes a very nice shield. Need to look at the big picture before you judge a reward.

I do like the effect too.. to bad it's the only one with it.
As for the shield I have a handfull of RE'd 2500 shields, and it didn't really have any desirable stats for re'ing.
If I still had a master sw I might have kept it for a filler piece, but .. you know how these storage limitations go.

I usually keep ones that are below 2000.
Yeah but this is sooooo much lighter than a 2550

Complicating matters is the fact energy drain doesn't get a %-based increase when REing. That's a shipwright bug I wouldn't mind seeing fixed.
Actually, just heard from Merry of a 1387 drain level 8 she's got. That sounds kinda reasonable, though still on the high side of awesome.
A friend did it last night... got a 110.x speed engine, and a 4600 blaster. The git!

Why would you want Energy drain to go up post-RE?? ![]()
[I know what you meant, I just tease]
