It's not really "new", it's been around for a while.

I like the general design, but the layout of the ship is just wrong. It looks like it is flying backwards. The long sleek "nose" piece should be the front/cockpit of the ship and the large "flat" area should be where the engines are. The design is interesting, but is just implemented wrong.

Yeah, that was the ThunderClaw. The one in the cartoon looked different. Kind of like how the toy version of the Ninja Turtles blimp looked nothing like the one in the cartoon.

I guess I am the only one who likes how it looks like its flying backwards. And there is another ship, that you definitely see in the smuggler's missions, usually a Hutt Transport. Its big and grey, and has 4 things coming out the front. That is also an awesome ship I'd like them to add. The only special POB ship we have is the Y8, and thats broken, ugly, and a "mining ship."

I think the other ship you're referring to is the Blacksun Transport. As far as I know there's no random spawns of either the Hutt Transport or the Blacksun Transport anywhere. The only place to see them is in missions. The Blacksun Transport definately shares design elements that match up with the various blacksun fighters. Personally, I think it would be a pretty cool ship to add to the game. They should add eight disk fragments that drop at the DWB that can be combined to make a limited use schematic for the Blacksun Transport. That would improve the pitiful loot situation at the DWB a bit, while at the same time adding in some loot that fits the backstory of the DWB and ties space and ground together a little bit.

I'm a fan of this ship too, and I like that it is "backwards" I keep thinking about a tailgun and the nice wide firing arc it would have.

I thought we were complaining about its fat @$$. The little pointy part is the front, right? I dig the look, but with the sloped bit at the front and the point bit at the back.

Yeah I seen that ship on the yavin missions, bizzare because it flies the opposite way to what you would expect it to do.

There's another heavy gunboat ship kicking about as well that looks pretty cool, it usually spawns near dathomir deep space station on my server.

There is a cooler one that only appears in one mission for I think smuggler's alliance that involves black sun. It "kinda" looks like a decimator, but it isnt a decimator...it is one of the coolest looking big ships in the game and I hope they add it as a POB.
