Thread: Painting my Jedi starfighter...what's these 'textures'?

My friend went Master Shipwright for a while during the respec and gave me 2 of each texture to try out on my starfighter. I ended up using texture 6 primary black, secondary yellow. Reminds me of a hornet and brings me back to my wingcommander days. Yes, texture kits do work, but the first two I don't believe changed anything on the ship or if it did, it wasn't noticeable.

THANK YOU!!!! I was having bugger all time trying to texture first my ARC, then my Bwing. When the ARC moved to slot 1 it worked, and with the Bwing in slot 4or 5 its still stuck. Now I know, and I'm so relieved.

*giggle* Hey, it's all in fun! Not being crazy about it or anything. I do these kinda things to keep myself amused in the game. I'm the same person who went hunting and hide-harvesting on every single planet to make a 'floor mat' of different pelts for a primeval-themed room, pure fun content.

I'd love to make fun of you... cept I do the exact samething! Took me 2 hours to decide which texture and colors I like best on my Firespray.

All the texture kits work for me on the JSF. Texture number one resets to Defualt. I use #5 myself.

I like style 2 for the jsf, it looks like the first asteroid texture kit for the x wing

Okay, I'm sold...gonna see somebody I think has all the texture kits, get a couple of each. Try each one by one, make screenshots, do a side-by-side comparison offline, figure out which appeals to me the most. Best way to make the decision I think!

Well, got the textures...and turned out I loved the #6. Red with black accents, looks great. Too bad 'Vader's Favor' wasn't allowed as a name...so it'll be Bloody Amazon. No big, the name suits me.

yes you can, a picture of mine (received in the first hour of "up" for ROTW) with texture kit #6, painted burgundy and black is here.

I've actually applied them afterwards, i think it may of been the "First 3" painting bug.

Dangit, now I have to repaint mine... LMAO! (looks identical to yours color, texture and all) I think I'll go for texture 5 the one with the starburst like patterns.

it seems the red and black is popular..same with texture six..the red and black is simple though..AMOK's colors..though Im the only one to run around in it anymore..
