1. the ARC is a RoTW ship.... hugely unbalanced...

2. JSFs suck... Or rather most pilots using them do

3. did I mention that JSFs suck?

Leaph: you wish what happens to you?

BTW, we need to rematch when I get a new engine

Yes, I'd like to get ganked by numerous pilots who actually have a clue who're Imperial. Dueling my Alliance friends is fun, but doesn't feel right and isn't spontaineous enough. Had two decent duels with Norram's Heavy Syck last night. He's got a lot, lot better and the second time took me far too long to kill him. He even hit me on the first (or might have been the second) duel. I think it was the second. Still, he is Alliance sided. Thing with the Syck, the other Heavy starters and the JSF/GSF is the chassis r,p,y acceleration. If you wangle the r,p,y in an almost spasmodic way, even with an inferior engine you can become next to impossible to hit at times. It's all very interesting.

Hmm, I'd go Imperial in order to get ganked but I'm just too lazy and I have 80k of Rebel FP which I've been hoarding for future possible space related use. I'd grind up to the max 120k FP but I'm keeping Leaph as a Captain because flying around as a Colonel doesn't feel right to me. The rank of Colonel, in my oppinion says 'desk job' even if that isn't accurate. Plus, my toon IC'ly is 20 years old. Even Captain is probably too high a rank for him comparatively to his age. I'm thinking of taking a short break from SWG anyway. I probably won't, but I'm feeling that way what with the postponement of certain publishes and the introduction of profession neglecting expansions.

Ok. Will stop here before I completely go off topic.

Who-hoo! I'm not the only one. A guildmate was laughing at me in tells yesterday because I'm capped on faction (100k) and refuse to take any more promotions past Captian. It's what I do, for cryin' out loud!

Hmmm... I am Alliance on Kettemore, but I have afriend on Starsider whois inactivewith theirpilot. I might be able to get themto become more active in space if theythink I will pop back over. (Gah!,working on master.) We were working on a Y-Wing boom-zoom-and-doom fighter that didn't get very far. Basically, it's using a two seater as much more aggressive fighter.Usethe standard boom-and-zoom approachand as you fly past the pilot lines up the rear gunner forhis turnto shoot. It works evenbetterifthe opponent is foolish enough to actually try to follow.

Whilst this sounds great at first, its also completely wrong. Sure I may have vaped 30 nubship players in one trip to Kessel a couple of weeks ago (in an Xwing). That does NOT make the JSF balanced. It just means I am even better than they were!

A better example is - Take me and clone me, give me1 a JSF with the best components, give me2 ANY non ROTW ship with the best components. Then let me1 and me 2 fight 100 times. We all know who would be the winner then.

Best strategies start with the assumption that the otherpilot is either just as good as yourself or better.

I meant by the post two above this one is that we could come as neutrals and fight on the side of the Empire. Do we need to start practicing our sneers and saying "Rebel scum!"?

wow... does that sound as stuffy as it felt typing it?

BTW For those of that don't know... I will be taking over for Ramona and Naithan as Imperial Command and Event Coordination until they can attend more regularly. I will be talking to Halyn and will try to get an Event set up for next Saturday. Hopefully we can get these events back to what they once were.

You Sir, are a beautiful addition to the human race (without sounding too fruity)

You'll notice Leaph has been missing the events more than most of us. Yeah, Pace, I'll talk to you in-game about setting something up. Between the new Imperial coordinator and the cleaned up ASFC list, we should be good to go!
