Our events last for an hour, though, so there's a need to conserve your consumables up there in case someone's been holding back.

Geez! I really need to start a character on Starsider. ONE HOUR!!!

But first I need to master pilot on Eclipse to help Kayl, or perhaps I should say Jotan, understand his place in PVP.

My motivation to cut my losses and move my toon to starsider is increasing with this post.

Bring it, Cupcake. The more kills you hand me, the bigger my infamous ego will swell and the more proficient I'll get on the whole against all opponents. I'd be satified with a 1:1 average, fate's just handed me a 9.x:1. Not all of that is luck.

Also, let me reiterate that all of my kills are GUN kills - I'd NEVER count a missile kill - not sporting enough.

BTW, it's Jotun - there's a "u" in there.

Only two types of kills i dont personnaly count.

1.) If i think the guy was loading, or AFK for whatever reason.
2.) If he was incredibly stupid and kept coming back and doing anothe encore performance of the same stupidity. ( For example seen this nova pilot keep doing a kamakaze run at the ISD, i must have smoked him 4 times, he just kept coming back. Would not take a hint. I kind of "forgot" about that when adding up my tally.)

Missle kills are legit. That said, only time i ever used my T/O was when FP grinding. When i was out "hunting", id use my T/I.

Speaking of T/O. lets get back to countermeasures

I like microchaff personnaly. Bit heavy, but more effective then regular chaff.

My problem with countermeasures has to do with how close the NPCs are when they fire on me. I get the missle launch warning as the missle slams into my shields. When I have used chaff and micro chaff it has been effective. I just need more than 0.005 seconds to press the chaffbutton...

Chaff seems to work well vs. small fighters with one missle slot. Gets kinda iffy facing a TIE Oppressor with a Tri-Rec II.
