Nope, got my Smuggler's Alliance one on Monday.
Where'd you get your medal from? I'm assuming I didn't get mine, or my badge, yet because I still have a few days of respec left. Not sure though.
My Imp is Storm ace, he's been there since shortly after JTL's launch so medals were not in back then ..
But when I talk to the admiral he says he has a medal for me, and pretends to give it to me .. but it never shows in inven.
My alt (aka switcheroo) has aced several squads, her current is vortex. (doesn't have the badge yet, apparently my respec must not be over) Her head honcho gives the same line "I have been authorised to present you with this medal" ... still no medal in inven.
Hmm ... maybe I should try going back to the other factions guys that I've aced with this toon and see if they offer one too. Would be nice if I could get one from the other factions I've aced too and not just the one I'm currently on.

I also hear this medal thing got nerfed. I hear it was bugged and spoke to someone who managed to get 10 of these medals by talking to him repeatedly. I guess this was a "fix" LOL
Well first of all I don't have any idea why this would be tradable in the first place (/bonk the nearest dev)
But a real fix would have been to simply flag it as not tradable, after all who cares if you can get an inven full of them if you can't trade them (read: sell them)

I helped 2 pa mates get their medals yesterday.
Both Imperial. One was in Storm Squadron, the other was in the Inquisition.
I was told that the medals are automatically biolinked, so while they may be tradable only the person who it's rewarded to can wear it.
I'm an old school Storm Squad ace... the Admiral SAYS he's handing me a medal when I talk to him, but he doesn't really give me one.

Same here, well it may have been about a week and a half now, but i did not get a medal either. Then just a few days later i mastered Black Eps with another character and got a medal, hell i can keep getting them if i want to, also on my other imp pilot (imp inq) i can also keep grabbing medals from the guy. but for some reason as a RSF i cannot get a medal.

No, there are rebels stuck in the same possition as the original poster.
I don't quite understand why some people can get the medal, while others can't though... Makes no sense really.

I feel your pain - my imp pilot medal got buggered too Luckily a guildie got his after mine and he got multiple medals and gave me one. hurrah! 
im hoping to master neutral (if they get one) and rebel again (:smileytongue
in the next two weeks, if i can get multiple medals im more than happy to getanyone who didnt get one a medal (send "order" to IGN MERL). i live on farstar btw
