Thread: Level 6 RE engine project. Your thoughts appreciated :-)
Lowest mass I've seen on a level 6 engine was about 8050, which ended up around 7750 or so in mine. In a couple months of searching, I found a handful in the 8500-8800 range, though, so I'd definitely say they're more common than 70+ PYR stats, which I only saw one or two of when I was seriously hunting. And couldn't pry away from their owner at about any price.

Are you sure? This is a lvl 6 engine we're talking about here.

Actually, no, I was wrong 
It was Tomo's 7500 mass I was thinking of at the time. So under 8k post re

I have a 9012 mass and a 69.8 roll. I needone of the prenerfs and a yaw and pitch in the 70s. Your drain is better than anything I've got. My old RE'd L6 had YPR all in the 69s pre-RE.

...the engine going into Phoenix will be made from high 69.x engine mods. They'll give a solid 72.x+ rating post-RE, and I'm happy with that. 71.8 is the 1.3 trigger point, btw - REQUIRES a 69.0 engine at the very least.
Why?
Because whether it's 72.0 post-RE or pre-RE, it's still a 1.3 mod. And I'm willing to settle for 1.31x... vs. 1.34x.... 1.3 is 1.3, and seeing as the only 70.0 pre-RE engine I've seen was in a crappy RE a month or so back, I don't think the cycle has worked itself around yet.
I've got until P24 to find one. I'm gonna jump probably as soon as P24 goes live, mostly because the last time drain REs got fixed, it was broken again within a week.
The real star is going to be the 1212.5 pre-RE L6 I found on the bazaar of all places. Mass is going to be about 300 points off Tomo's, but I still have time.
