I'm wondering if the drop has been nerfed in the last few weeks.
I got my first one a month ago, 94.8 speed. Everyone else I've seen go through the quest since then (must be more than 10) have yet to break 92 speed. I just traded some nice L10 blasters for a 103.3 speed one that was a reward from 4-5 weeks ago.
I smell nerf.

Hasn't been nerfed. It's purely random. When i first did this quest when ROTW came out, the speed was around 90 or so. I then did the quest with my 3 other toons about 2 weeks ago back to back to back. Speeds were 86 (ouch), 96, and 103.x (yeehaa). Re'd, the YPR is now in the 77's with a 108.x speed. Forgot the mass on it now. I think it's in the high teens or low 20's.

PS Engines (both looted and reward) seem to have the most random stats I've ever seen. I recently got the reward engine (level 6) with one of my toons and it's horrid (84ish speed bleh). Meanwhile I looted a 98 speed level 6 engine on another toon. Figure that one out!!

I got nice and lucky with mine speed was 96 i think and pyr isinthe 69's all i need to do now is get a nice RE on it

you did not recently loot a 98 speed l6, im sorry, but it just didnt happen.
as for the QID, ive done it twice yesterday and today, one was 95, other one was 85 (bleh)

That's really, really good to hear.
Working on my own L8 engine with similar stats. I've got up around 76 YPR, now its a race between my impatience and finding slightly better loot.

All i know is i havent done the quest yet, but found some fool selling a 96.6 for 3.5 mill. Not the greatest, but respectable, and should RE out to about 101.4 top speed. Scarfed that puppy right up. Credits are replacable, good parts are not.

Yeh..98 speed lvl 6 looted these days? Well...give us a screeny and I'll believe you but otherwise, Noooooway is that posisble.
