I suspect the one that returned had some idea that there would be a fight the second time around ... a Heavy X might be an "easy" target when you can draw a bead on it, but you're in more trouble than your opponent if you BOTH hit the target.

Sounds like you Shadowfire guys have a decent crop of pilots. You might consider implementing a pilot's chat channel. We executed one on Lowca and it has vastly improved our pilot community.

We do have a pilot's channel on SF but we need a way to get more pilots on it. We seem to have a usual suspects hanging on the channel.

Imps beware a good friend of mine just made Ace and will be patrolling DS as soon as we can get him a good engine. One of the best 'natural" pilots I have had the pleasure of flying with or against. He was taking a WOW break and is back and eager to test his mettle.

well once i get ace back i cna help but weekends are prefererable as i usually ahve mounds of homework to do during the week. now i am thinking of making a charcter on starsider jsut to see what its like there.

I wish I could find that many rebs in DS. Hell, I'd be happy to find that many people of any faction in DS. What times are you on? Also...when you keep score do you count each and every kill...like say you kill the same person 3 times. Do you count that as 3 kills? Just wondering.

I keep track of names but not number of kills anymore. Sometimes when you set up sparring matches or if you're just trying out new manuvers or weapons and so on, to me, those don't count. I only count the new fresh kill. After that we're no longer strangers and free to sparr instead of fight.

As for being the best PVPer on our server I would say no. I say that because I don't think there really is a "best". If you fly as often as some of us do, you will get shot down eventually and often. No matter how good you are. If you fly long enough with the same people you're all going to get blown to bits.

But then there are a few of us who have been flying against each other since JTL launched and it becomes a never ending dogfight. You lear each others flying style and neither can score a hit.

And if you don't already know there are 2 main pilot channels on SF. ImperialPilots and Pilots.

If you ever need help or a sparring partner give me a shout. IGN is Thradd. Alts name is Oryyshinkanato. My alt is freelance but I usually go Imp in DS with him. But I don't mind going Reb if it will help you add some numbers to your loss column

OK yes, i do count each kill as one, even if its the same person 4 times, thats still 4 kills. I'm usuually on saturday nights and friday days, only time i can be on because of sports. and anyways i actually got shot down recently by a heavy x pilot, can't rememeber the name though so its now, 24-1. but still a good record in my opinion.
