Personally i hate the fireball, Ionic, Pulse effects.

Far too laggy. Gimme a simple red or pink laser anyday.

I've had a good week this week actually, looted me a level 3 1800 mass reactor with over 13k output, REed up to 13800.

what was the name of the gun you used for the low mass? Iv been looking for one for a while, is it the gyrhil?

For an L8, look at the Armek SW-7a, the Mandalmotors Heavy Annihilator, and the Gyrhil 72s.

They seem to have the lowest masses of the L8s.

I'm just pissed because right after making my first Borstel RE, I found a 1618.x reactor drain pre-RE L8. Mine is 1819.x if memory serves correctly - would've made a difference of a whole whopping 260-someodd points using WO3.

Got 3 of these badboys installed.


Waiting on 2 more borstels to be re'd, I love the galaxy-wide vendor search finding level 8 reward weapons for 8k is a steal.

Alas, it's been a while since I've found L7s and L8s (and L10s, for that matter) of any merit on the bazaar/vendor search.

I've got two more Borstels on the backburner, though. Would have had three, but I had two and traded one for a Boltdriver I've been saving for the ultimate L7 RE.

It was a 24k Corelian AG (which ever is the level 8, can't remember off the top of my head) and it seems to be going against the grain some what as most of my other light RE 8's are Gyrhil 72s.

Either way i'm begining my hunt for a better L6, i bought this one REed, so i'm sure there's better to be had.

isn't thoughs the lvl 8 reward laser you get from rebel and freelance pilot lol...

i lost mine it is on a disabled account... waiting for my friend to reactivated it so i can steal it back...

The best RE level 8 are based around those, yes, but they have around 33k mass without REing.

It takes a special loot to get it down to 22k/23k. Hell its diffuclt enough getting it down to 25k.

There's actually a green level 8 Cygnus gun, too, but high-level green lasers tend to be exceedingly rare. I was just rooting through my stockpile of 8s today and only saw a single Sienar out of something like 40-50 guns.

I like the green guns personally, both for your reasons of blending in with a crowd and because it makes me feel more Imperial. The level 6 I use is green, as a matter of fact.
